this is a two-hour coin flip the books had weighted 65/35 for stans...
i figured never-quit (<>always plays well, as matt points out clearly, but guy tends to play each and every point like life and death, regardless of the score) tommy had a considerably better than 35% chance to end up on top of stan who's very capable of brilliance but very prone to strategic folding should the going get tough enough to upset his cost/benefit analysis of the situation (aka. how hard he wants to try)...
so, let the goddam coin spin...silly to see everything as decisive...till things get truly crucial (until at least one guy has "2 sets and 5 games" under his belt)...
