I watched the highlights of the matches last night. What a grueling match Seppi and Kyrgios.
Both played fantastically. Unfortunately the losses I had with Seppi, and also with the Wickmayer
Over should never have occurred because if these matches took place at a time when I could have
reacted to them, I would have preserved profit by hedging, most emphatically with Seppi and
the lead he had. From now on, you won't see me taking matches, barring futures, which are played
at a time that I will not be able to adjust live. Generally, I will be paring down the amount of action
I place on the Australian Open. I'll be glad when it's over. Come early February, the tournaments
finally leave the Far East and come back to the Western Hemisphere.
Concerning some upcoming matches, Murray is too highly juiced for me to bother betting on him
vs Kyrgios. Wawrinka should beat GGL and I would take him over Nishikori but at only +110
to win the quarter it's not a sufficient payout. Ferrer presents a challenge for Nishikori but
not as much as if the match took place a few years ago for Ferrer.
Most interesting is the Berdych vs. Nadal where I favor Berdych and he is currently a +140 dog.
I would not feel terribly comfortable taking Vika over Domi; thus I will place light action on Domi.
Masha can take Genie. Serena vs. Garbine I will not fade Serena. Keys vs. Brengle I think Brengle
could push Madison into errors but will place nothing going into it. Venus vs Radw I will put a light
on Venus as she is a dog and playing with conviction. I like her potential in the match vs Radw
who is not a powerful hitter. Makarova Halep no pre-bet.
On the doubles side, I want to fade the Bryans but not with Inglot/Mergea. Rojer/Tecau over
Butorac/Groth is tempting but no play because Butorac is a doubles specialist and Groth is the
crowd home favorite with the killer serve. Still, Rojer/Tecau are likely to exploit the weaknesses
in Groth's volley. Bolelli/Fognini can beat Marach/Venus if they play their A game but with Fognini
on the court I would rather bet on roulette. My lean is Dodig/Melo over Murray/Peers, however
again the line is not especially tempting and I know the loud Aussie crowd will be backing Murray/Peers
and would rather just back the winner in the next round. Benneteau/Vasselin have the edge over
Mahut/Herbert largely due to their familiarity and ability to hit Mahut's serve. Mahut carries Herbert
but Benneteau/Vasselin are the pedigree in this match.
On the women's side, although Goerges/Groenfeld are a capable pair with solid chemistry, they are
highly unlikely to upset Errani/Vinci. Also I will back Hingis/Pennetta over the Asian opponents
and Hingis with Paes in mixed. There can be no doubt that Martina would love to win
both women's and mixed.

I would like to state I don't have any props for any matches right now - but I really don't agree with Cibulkova
I've been sleeping intermittently and will be taking a week off after this tournament from what I've made live and will continue to make
