Maybe if she took her warmups off and played in a real tennis outfit .... haven't seen much to indicate injury. I think she f-in dogged it in the 1st like a little twat. She's probably old school Andy Murraying it ... looking hurt when she loses points, fine when she doesn't.

Rusty as shit. I mean she did wear a walking boot for several weeks in February for the injury - it doesn't look to effect her to me, she just is playing with zero confidence.

Realistically talking though, Azarenka was a good bet after the 1st set if you use a book like Bet365 that void retirements. Women always retire instead of playing out the match if they are losing and slightly injured. So pretty much its a decent chance for free money but still the risk of a none retirement if Aza is down by not much during 3rd set if it gets there.

Yea match was too close for a retirement which was the risk with the bet.

I toyed with the idea of putting a grand on Davis but couldn't find anyone on the forum saying it's a good bet. Not sure why. She was shaky to be sure but Aza had no serve, it would just be a matter of time before she gave up the ghost. I also noticed that Aza does not have many retirements which made me think she would play it out. I guess I shouldn't be complaining about winning $300 but come on guys, you (or some of you) are the experts here. Didn't anyone here think Davis was a good bet?

Don't think many of us here focus too much on WTA. Anything can happen so even with good research, sometimes it just doesn't make a difference unfortunately.
