    Delpo v Somdev
What are people thinking here? Initial thoughts are Devvarman +5.5 @ $2.00 (Aussie book giving me good value, Pinny is $1.78 for same bet).

Delpo wrist injury concern, not sure where that is at. Devvarman managed to lose 4 and 4 last time they played (here last year).

Only thing I see going against Somdev is he won a Challenger last week in India. Wiped the floor with pretty much everyone he played. Potential for hangover here?

Anyway looking for someone to talk me in or out of the +5.5

    Thanks!

I have a feeling del po's wrist will be just fine and he rapes somdev. Also hate the juiced odds. I think there are better dogs tomorrow but gl.

Just found this, “My wrist is getting better, but I am still not feeling confident to hit my backhand 100% and the injury has affected my slice and drop shots,” he told the Gulf News. “I need time to work and get muscle again on my arm. It’s not easy mentally.”

hmm well maybe the bet is a smart wager. del po always injured it seems. but he is still a lot better than somdev and would not susprise me one bit if he covered the 5.5 spread.

has arrived well ahead of schedule and acclimatized to conditions here...
"...I know his game," Delpo, 25, from Tandil in Argentina, said of his opponent, who he beat here last year in their only previous meeting. "He's a good player, but then so are most of the players at this level of the game. I know he played a Challenger final today. It is going tobe a challenge for me. It all depends on how my wrist feels. This is a big opportunity for me to raise my level and play better than what I did at Rotterdam (last week)."

Yeah I do agree that I wouldn't be surprised if Delpo covered, however I'm trying to determine if the % of times Devvarman covers are better than the odds suggest. Unsure at the moment.

If you bet ML on Somdev you win. The first set was completed.

Depends on which book you bet with. Some will pay ML bets once the match has started and the first ball is in play, some wait for the first set to end and others want the match to end...
