Added this massive investment tonight. I picked Bartoli to go to the Finals in the bracket contest. Gut feeling and the draw is really open with Sharapova out now. For $5, who the fukk cares.

I'm going to watch the line drift tomorrow before deciding, but likely I'm going to leave the bigger cashout if Bartoli wins - but obviously put enough on Lisicki for a nice payout as well. I just think it's anyone's match with what is on the line.

murray isn't losing that 1st set. would bet hundreds on it if the odds weren't so shit.

1st Set IMO is the best shot for either underdog to grab a set as the returners try to get the measure of their serves. I'd rate Murray a better shot at dropping the 1st set as the odds suggest. He's shown enough vulnerability on-serve in the last two matches to think there's a chance if Janowicz comes out dealing on his own serve. Del Potro to me I can see matching Djokovic serve for serve in the 1st if he has his best serve on display, but I think he'd probably have to take it in a TB.

Anywho, I think there's a shot. Used this a couple other times during the tournament in different spots. Not always gonna work, but I think there's a decent shot to hit 1/2.

As much as I wasn't being fully serious, it may well be his best match of the year thus far. At any rate he was absolutely amazing Wednesday.

Not much of a lesson to be had for me in my own opinion. I don't hedge when I'm prepared to take the risk, as was the case this time. Tough shit but I made my choice consciously.

Yeah I hedged on Lisicki to win some, but kept the bigger part on Baroli. Really expected to wake up this morning and see that she got beat ... but also knew it was anyone's game considering she has the Finals experience, I thought she had a better shot than the actual odds of the match.

Not bad when you can make money on futures, makes up for a rather blah tournament overall in the picks department for me. Reverse of the French Open when I picked decently in the tourney, but shit the bed on the futures.

Psyched for the US Open. My favorite Slam still.

You didn't watch?! I figured you were at work or dead but still watching. Dude get a replay. She dismantled her. Lisicki cried multiple times including one where I finally cracked it in Hardcoar's thread. Marion picked her apart like a seagull chomping on KFC and Lisicki's serve went awol which didn't help. Her ball toss was like a drunk clown and when she got into rallies she made the most stupid shots possible. She fought for 2 games near the end of the 2nd but seriously it was a smackdown.
