Her ball toss was like a drunk clown and when she got into rallies she made the most stupid shots possible. She fought for 2 games near the end of the 2nd but seriously it was a smackdown.
After watching some of the replay + highlights, Sabine Liscki reminds me 100% of Vera Zvonareva performance wise in the Finals - obviously their games are no where near the same. I remember Vera in two Finals in 2010 at Wimbledon and the US Open and it was hard to watch her because she was generally easy to root for and had the hot headed Russian temper like Youzhny that is marvelous to watch at times.

I think it's a toss-up. I picked Djokovic pre-tourney and still lean towards him to win. Grass though IMO is Murray's best opportunity to beat him in a Finals setting. Although both are just f-ing great on the surface in general.

Heh funny about that Zvonareva clip. Pretty sure I made some coin on Makarova that year. Another one of those years where somehow I picked a darkhorse who made the quarters. Seem to have a knack for that every couple Slams on the WTA side even though I probably know less about WTA in general ...

Can't pull the trigger yet on Murray ML. I was thinking taking the +2.5 though for safety.

seems to be a much better-priced proxy for the "o3.5sets" (currently at =300)...a cheaper (ie. lower risk/same payout) way to bet on a long match

This last game gets that time prop cashed. Beauty.
Reasoning on taking it was simply looking back at their matches of the past year or so, even the two set matches in regular tour events were taking a couple hours. Djokovic's serve routine by itself prolongs a match and then the amount of long rallies they play = long matches. Obviously seeing that today as this may cash in a straight set win.

The luck you had with the MLS games last night was freaking unbelievable, but at least Djokovic fought hard in the last game of the match to get you over the top on this match duration bet.
Savvy bet, EP. Congrats on the cash.

Wimbledon site has it at 189. I am just waiting to see it graded. Sometimes 5Dimes is wacky, but unless they recalculate ... epic bad beat. I had been following it on Flashscore when I was away from the TV and they had it running at 192. Difference seems to be the time of the 1st set.
Honestly as bad a beat as that is, I don't feel that terrible. Not exactly happy, but I'm still on a Bartoli high.

The Wimbledon tournament officials bet under 189.5 minutes?

LoL. I am just going to wait and see how it gets graded. You would think just go to the official site for the time, but here's to hoping they don't.
And it is 189.5 ... what's to say it wasn't 189:30 since Wimbledon doesn't list the seconds. I am sure I could complain if it is graded a loser if I really wanted to, but it seems useless with 5D.

BBC story also sites it at 3 hours, 10 minutes = 190. Thinking I will have some fun with customer service today if it's graded a loss and see if I can at least just get it graded a push because of all the varying times. HeeHee. This is more exciting than the match itself, to see how this is graded.

Yeah, but at the end of the day for something like this I would have gone off the official site of the Slam to fight for or against a bet either way, so I can't really complain. The biggest thing for me is that I think it finished between 189 and 190, so the 189.5 could have seriously pushed, but I mean there's really no way to prove that - so it is what it is.

There's no use. You might as well get the KY or other lube of your choice ready, because Tony is gonna ... well, you know.
That is an awful beat, EP. But, hey, at least Bartoli pulled off the impossible. And don't forget about Newport. Lots of underdogs will be barking in the coming days.

Going to play Newport this week and I am going to concentrate on just one of the dirt tourneys. Think that is going to me my mode of operation through the US Open Hard Court series which of course will have just one tourney per week which will make life easy.
Thinking Sweden just to avoid Jeremy Chardy in Germany.

Easier for me to break down one tournament and play it vs. trying to keep up with 3-4 tournaments. Just the way I think I have had the most success and something I am going to try to stick to.

Looking at the draws, definitely more upset potential in Stuttgart as opposed to Bastad. Like a moth to a flame, I intend to make at least 3-4 futures bets in Stuttgart that have absolutely no chance.

Robredo, Verdasco or Don'Juan could easily take it though. I don't have quite as much faith in Griggs'.
