It's carelessness is all it is.

It rounds both ways and over time it equals itself out. So what's the problem here? It's not a ripoff like with RW where it always rounds down in the books favor. You are trying to make an issue out of nothing.

Hi guys,

Hope you all had a good weekend.

No sportsbook is perfect , and we all know this here at Betislands we do our best to offer the best CS around , good bonuses , same day payouts , decent lines , true dimeline in MLB , 107 juice , free half points , great bonuses etc.

Yes our racebook is not the best but I have said it in the past this season for me was about getting the sportsbook and banking running smoothly , I consider horses to be an extra an exotic offering we have added tracks and put together a small rebate system but any further upgrades will not come until 2012.

Yes we do round up bets because we do not deal in cents this is the system setting we round up and down it is not a way one road for this I apologize and I have even offered to take my time and go account by account and credit any cents or dollar that you feel you were shorted but in an average this will not cost player more than $1 to $2 a week if shorted at all and I am just a PM away.

None of the 2 above mentioned make Betislands any more of a lesser book in my opinion.

If you feel you can look aside from these small issues then Betislands will do its bets to try and earn your business.

Not dealing in cents? This is 2011. Get new software, the thought that you can't deal in cents is laughable. This would be an issue for me to not play at your book as other books offer something as simple as not rounding your bets. Worst part is the book seems really great other than that.

while i find it strange and annoying to not deal in cents, i dont care that they dont for 1 main reason- they will round in your favor depending on the amount! if one wanted to take advantage of this, im sure you could. the majority of my wagers are ROUND numbers and im unnaffected.

The rounding makes it tough on horse betting any wager you win under 10 bucks gets rounded down so if you bet 8 bucks and hit a 1-5 favorite instead of making 80 cents you get your bet back. Also If you a exacta for 8.80 it goes to 8.00 anything that wins under 10 goes down but I love this site. Keep up good work

I think you do a great job answering questions and trying to help the player. However a player should not have to go through this extra step to get his change refunded. Why not change the software? If your betting 50/100 a game this is a non issue but if your just depositing 100 and trying to build a bankroll this can be an issue or a pain. Just my suggestion, thanks for listening

For an extra layer of security, you should add an extra password regarding payouts.

Hi Lou,

We do request all accounts to confirm their password before being sent out , and if a payout is sent out under someone other than the account holders name they will have to verify their information with us before doing so for client protection.

This is good feedback though and may implement this in the future.

i have cashed out at 5 books and never been asked for extra password? Also if they have your password they could lose it all in the casino so you might as well add extra password there too or they could lose it all on betting on games so we need to add extra password there too..

Hi Lou,

It seems you may not be understanding the verification info is information only the account holder could know.

I see your thoughts and value your feedback but in any case we ask for the account holder to send us an email from the registered add in the account as well. Not only that we do give one on one service so we actually know the clients and people that play with us can confirm this.

Clients should always keep their information safe and I always suggest to not save the log in any PC even if it is of personal use.

Im sure I'm not the only one who's done it. But I accidentally bet on the wrong side of a college game today I took Oklahoma yesterday and liked it alot I decided to put more on it, I had a sheet of my picks and was driving and picking them on my iPhone. I accidentally bet on mizzou. When I realized I contacted betislands to see if I could cancel it. It wasn't a big deal because if I couldn't I would of just bet double on another book that I use to offset it, but Ryan cancelled
it for me. Little things like that, there customer service and the quick payout they gave me the day before put this on the top of books I'll use.

I know that for the smaller player this may be an issue so rest assure I will always compensate player loyalty towards Betislands.

I also noticed, and was quite happy, to see that cents were added to the software this morning; now it's back to the rounding system. Is it possible to just make that feature available upon request? I know we can ask you for an "accounting" at any time, but I don't want to nickel and dime you guys, lol literally.

u can probably talk to jim ryan or nick and get a 100% bonus on that.. but they will cover the sending fees if u send 200 or more so why not have them pay the 15-20$ as well for ya ?

They have if bets and if bet win only on the website, but it is different then what you and i did. Especially with the 4:15 NFL, it comes in handy.
