BetPhoenix, extra money just shows up in my account
So i log into my BP account this morning and i see a $200 free play and i see my account balance is $200 higher than what it should be. So i check my transactions and it showed a Money Gram deposit last night for $200. The problem is i never made a money gram deposit, i got on live chat and they said i made a $200 deposit via money gram last night.

Never had a problem with BP before, but seems a bit wierd.

Probably just somebody quoting the wrong account ID, out by a digit or whatever. Just tell them you didn't make the deposit and hopefully they can match it by name or whatever.

its an obvious error, honesty is the best policy here..if you play and win, you will likely not get your payout before the error is caught and will be banned. If your honest, the owe you a crumb, free and clear and take your free shot with that.

I'd say $50 free play is in line myself for a player catching this type of error first and reporting it.

I would recommend you be completely honest with the book. Honesty is the best policy, you could play it and they find out and COULD boot you. They may reward your honesty and let you keep the amount. At least you'll be in there good books

yeah i tried being honest i got on live chat right away, and they didnt say anything other than that i made a Moneygram deposit yesterday, and i told them i didnt make one and all they said was it shows i did. I think i'll leave the money alone and see what happens, i have a few grand in my account and don't want to mess anything up.

This is ironic because my BP account is always missing money

I told them again i didn't want it and never made that deposit and my account manager removed it, took me three times to get it fixed. Told them to take it out of my account, i didn't want to take a chance of my account being messed up over $200.

Good to be honest but now BP has most likely robbed someones $200 deposit

if somebody had made an error when made the deposit, that person will tell the book and they could gave him his money.
But if the book doesn't tell you nothing, keep the money

If your account had less than $100 you should have taken a free shot. If more should have call in for a fix.

Next time just thank the book for the money that showed up in your account. If that doesn't ring any bells with them, you're good.

They'll probably shoot you an e-mail back, asking if there's anything more they can do for you.

At that point you can carefully inquire about larger bank errors in your favor.
