    Orbit / asianconect

Hello, im french and i bet in orbit with broker asianconnect
I wonder if there are deposit limits
for example is it possible to deposit 50k and then withdraw 100k?
or can he refuse on the pretext that the amounts are high?
I prefer to ask before depositing large amounts.

to deposit via asianconnect 50k is not good idea... it's better to use them without agent or use another one agent or split money between few agents

He's just saying he's worried because of the lack of recourse options if something were to go wrong. Yes, they are the largest broker in the industry imo and handle 8 figures, but you never know etc. However, there have been people to have 6 figures on Asian Connect(and I know one) who never had any problems.

Do you need agent to open orbit? Can't you open an account directly?

you won't be able to bet much at orbit. I don't know why you want to deposit that much. I use orbit with bet-ibc and they are terrible, you reach your max bet at around 2000 euro and that is for the day.

Perhaps it is different with ac88 and other brokers.

Really? Orbit has a daily exposure limit per account?

That is great , but they are supposed to be an exchange and you should be able to bet what ever is available on the match.

I have switched to a new betfair copy called mountbet. They have been great so far regarding placing a bet. I haven't made a withdrawal, will let you guys know how that goes

Anyone else have issues with betting on the live Asianodds platform, in which you're waiting maybe 15-20 seconds on a bet to be confirmed? It's annoying because the book is basically freerolling you for 15 seconds, then will just reject your bet if a goal is scored...etc.

That's not an issue, it's how live betting works with all asian books. They have a "danger zone" in which the bet is pending before it's accepted. This can last minutes sometimes. Not freerolling at all as it works both ways (if you have the under pending and a goal is scored, your bet is rejected as well).

As Alfa said, holding funds while the match is in the danger zone is completely normal stuff. On the other hand if there is no danger zone and you wait 20 seconds for bet to be confirmed, that is a proper reason to feel discomfort.

What criteria defines the "danger zone."

There is no set in stone criteria. It's up to the book to decide. But it's basically as it sounds. When a team is launching an attack in the front 3rd, or a corner or other set piece is coming.

Pinnacle claim their people who turn danger zone status on and off are separate from the traders and do not know what betting activity is going on when they do it.

I'm 99% sure this is done by the people reporting from alongside the pitch, so they would have no idea what the bets that are coming in look like.

I've read about it on Pinny site being like that there in the past. Might be different some places.

Not sure if i would want to trust the guy at the match being paid 50 euro to handle it totally though.

You could ask one of the companies that is responsible for scouting the in-play action and submitting the data to the sportsbooks: http://www.performgroup.com/brands/runningball/

But I think Optional has pretty much explained it

i joined ac88/orbit recently and the limits are much higher than bet-ibc. They must have a different setup, but so far it has been pretty good
