How do books allow past posting and betting over limits?
In this day and age with the technology available, how can past posting and betting above limits be an issue?

How can there be an excuse to allow anyone to bet any game over xxx amount that is their limit or to bet after xxx time when the game starts?

In this day an age how can any book still operate that is a total scam?
How can we deposit into a book without full financial statements being shown and proven to their legitimacy?

Agree, past posting should not and cannot happen without the books help. Having said that, there are some unusual start times which catch the books off guard. Especially during tournament times. This leads to unintentional past posting. Lot of people did one last week on an obscure game ncaa hoops that the time was screwed up on. Game was an hour in before all the books realized the time was off an hour. So that is nobody's fault. But a game that goes off at a normal time--THAT IS ALWAYS THE BOOK'S FAULT IF A PLAYER CAN BET THAT GAME.

Having said that, I never bet a game in the last 2 minutes to try and avoid the possibility of a headache with a book.

Limits are the books fault too, software to prevent that is almost glitch proof.

A couple of years ago I remember someone posting about how their money was confiscated. It was a big deal for a few days, until SBR got to the truth and a fair deal was made. What the player did was call in his picks and when the teller opened the window to make the play the software would allow it to stay open while it was being entered. So, the guy would start making picks right at the time the game started and sometimes would be able to talk to the person over 15 minutes stalling while he watched the game and made his picks. It was crazy, I know, but somehow this guy discovered this glitch. Anyway the book canceled all his winning bets but not the losing ones. Eventually, I believe all were canceled but the guy still complained that because they took the bet they should have honored it. The forum was split in the beginning but as more information came in and people saw this guy knew he was betting after the game began and actually watching the game while on the phone, the forum shifted against him. However, in the end, like I said SBR was able to get all the bets voided..

Because many books are lazy and use outdated software or don't double-check start times.
