Is faxing credit card verification forms safe?
Hey everybody I'm brand new to online gambling, today was my first bet. I only put like $25 down at DSI for my first bet and I realized after using my debit card (I realize I really should have used a prepaid gift credit card) to deposit that I have to fax a credit verification form with a scan of my ID and credit card. I'm not sure if I'm really comfortable with this and we'll see how it goes. I bet on the vikings (only -3 over the cardinals ?!?!?!) and i'm pretty confident of winning that but I don't want to risk faxing that info to cash out something so small so i'm just going to throw my winnings and original onto a risky parlay card next week and if I lose it I learned my lesson but but if I win i'm going to want to cash that out. I know I'll have to fax them the form to do that, and I'm wondering if those forms are really secure to fax to 2betdsi.com Has anyone sent one to DSI or any other reputable site rated highly on here and has anyone heard of any complaints with faxing this info?

no it isn't safe, but it is normal protocal. Look at the sunny side, if someone was to commit fraud the cc company would investigate it and give you the credit back.

thanks for the answers, I guess I'll have to win enough to make the $50 check fee worth it and just brave the risk, one of the risks of illegal gambling i guess.

But one more question: If I fax them that info, how long would I have to wait if I felt like cancelling my card after sending that info out?

I would wait a few months myself.

Christ. Tons of bad info in this thread. E-mail is probably less safe than fax for the average person, as they are incompetent at computer safety.

What's your CC max? even if anything happened you'd get it back on ********** and could sue them for their employees f'in them about, unless its a bogus book there shouldn't be any problems.

No, nothing online is really safe. Save your money and go to a 100% legal sportsbook.
