This new ownership group Isn't all that new from the info I'm getting. I'm working on this more than I should be. I feel bad for all involved and who are being stolen from. More to come very soon.

My first one did not auto expire and they manually did it after I contacted support. Second one automatically expired. Not sure if it was 30 days or 1 calendar month but it was definitely either one.

My latest withdrawal request got cancelled and my account is now closed.
Like everyone else, nothing I've done wrong. Just listed as a non-recreational (withdrawals greater than deposits).

I have 30k on there. If anyone has any advice, please PM or post here. Thanks.

Latest report on this shitshow including a transcript where Jazz rep tries to justify their actions.
A number of these players originally told they would be paid in increments and were still allowed to place bets for months before accounts confiscated.

Was just told my account is being closed and there will be no further payouts. Two days ago I was told I would be paid.

I made my deposits in December and I won in March. So yeah no one is getting paid.

Oh shit wait a minute! Jazz Business Solutions B.V. were issued a license by the Curacao Gaming Control Board (CGCB) on June 28, 2024!

    Source: https://gamingcontrol.spin-cdn.com/m...g_register.pdf

    This is from CGCB website:

    Complaints

Our primary role is to regulate and supervise various gaming activities conducted within or from Curacao. We strive to ensure that gaming operators comply with the laws and regulations designed to protect the integrity of the gaming industry.

We would like to clarify that the GCB does not handle individual complaints against gaming providers. Resolving disputes between players and gaming operators is not within our mandate. As such, we do not have the authority to mediate or arbitrate in these matters. The GCB is not a civil court and cannot order gaming operators to compensate players or issue judgments. Therefore, we encourage players to seek resolution directly with the gaming providers and to contact the appropriate legal channels if necessary.

However, your complaint is important to us, as it may indicate potential breaches of the LOK by operators. If a complaint or a pattern of complaints indicates a possible violation of the law, we may take appropriate action against the operator.
As part of our ongoing reform efforts, we are actively working on implementing the necessary measures to address such matters as thoroughly as possible. To this end, we will introduce a standardized claim form on our website to collect specific information. This data will be entered into a database, which we will use to support our risk-based supervisory approach. Therefore, once the web complaints form is introduced, please refrain from sending complaints to our info@gcb.cw inbox. Please note that we will not disclose the status of any investigations or actions taken.

as i said, went down a bit of a rabbit hole. probably irrelevant, but interesting (and possibly relevant).

Curacao eGaming - a company called Cyberluck Curacao N.V. is doing business as Curacao eGaming. Curacao eGaming was one of 4 companies with a master license to operate gambling games, issued by the Curacao Gaming Control Board. In turn, Curacao eGaming would issue sublicenses to sportsbooks such as Jazz/LL.

Xecutive Corporate Mangement (XCM) - XCM is company that acts as the registered agent for various companies. XCM is the registered agent for Jazz/LL and other sportsbooks that operate with a sublicense from Curacao eGaming.

Lawsuit between XCM and Curacao eGaming - In 2021, XCM filed a lawsuit against Cyberluck (d/b/a Curacao eGaming) for libel/slander, and for injunctive relief. Its complicated, but basically Cyberluck made statements on its website about XCM, and said it would stop issuing sublicenses to clients of XCM (e.g., Jazz/Looselines). XCM claimed this was libel/slander and intereference with business. The court ruled in favor of XCM.

It is possible that after this lawsuit Jazz/LL lost its sublicense from Curacao eGaming and why they no longer have the seal on their websites.

All of this to say, possibly the fact that Jazz/LL arent regulated by Curacao Gaming Control Board, and dont appear to be regulated by any jurisdiction, constitutes a violation of Curacao law.

    Some more information.

In Looselines' terms of service it says they are operated by Jazz Business Solutions B.V registered under No. 152056 at, Scharlooweg 39 U.16, Curacao.

Input "Jazz Business Solutions" in the Curacao Commercial Register search https://www2.curacao-chamber.com/companyselect.asp

And we see the name of the "managing director" is Xecutive Corporate Management B.V.

I believe a lawsuit would have to be filed in Curacao -- not Costa Rica -- and this managing director Xecutive Corporate Management B.V. is the entity that would be served with process.

    And curacao eGaming are bankrupt

The Gambling911 article I linked to has been edited since this morning after people reported about having accounts shut down and balances confiscated.
After more than a year of slow payment issues concerning Jazz Sports (well documented on the Gambling911.com website), we are finally learning that the long established sportsbook is under new management.

I would say Jazz's attempt to get some good publicity after months of bad publicity backfired pretty badly.

I've tried a 1k withdrawal three times since that post and been rejected every time. The first one they rejected it saying I needed to be verified. The second one they rejected giving no reason. The 3rd once they rejected just yesterday saying I need to request the full balance. I haven't attempted a new one since.
