#3When I was betting more than now, I was using bitpay as it can directly deposit to skrill/neteller and used it everyday.
Now I have majority of it in trezor wallet.Comment -

#5Exodus, Is by far my favorite. You can put on a PC and your phone. Also can hook it up to trezor for cold storage.Comment -

#8Any independent wallet that you hold the private key for and like the interface.
Don't use a wallet anyone else has any control over, like Coinbase, Gemini, Bitpay or any other wallet attached to a financial services company.
Electrum if you want every possible feature and don't care about simplicity.
Edge wallet on your phone, if you want simplicity..Comment -

#10For cold storage (less moving around of crypto) I have 3 ledger wallets, 2 Nano S’s and one Nano X. For transacting crypto I use an old blockchain wallet. The app gets buggier with every update, right now it’s lags updating balances, freezes temporarily after sending etc etc. I’ve heard really good things about Samourai wallets. My wallet was dusted at blockchain and there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it, support didn’t have a clue. Samourai will not only alert you to the dusting attack but will allow you to mark the BTC as ‘do not spend’ , which is nice.
All wallets are not created equal.Comment -

Nothing wrong with Gemini but there is no reason to risk holding bitcoin there as your "bank account" type wallet. As they have control of your funds and if worst comes to worst, can decide to not let you have them, or give them up to govt confiscation etc.
If you just use your own independent wallet that you hold the private key for, then no one can touch it take it unless you authorize it.
If you are new www.blockchain.com/wallet or the Edge App on your phone are two fairly simple ones a lot of people around here use, in case you need help..Comment -

#22I use the Trezor. I think its safer than an online wallet, but I suppose not foolproof.
It can be a little tricky when ya gotta update the "firmware".
You gotta disconnect, then reconnect while at the same time holding down the 2 little buttons on the device.
Then, on your computer screen, find and click "download updated firmware."
Are the terms "private key" and "seed words" synonymous?Comment -

#29Like mentioned, cold hardware wallets like Nano S/X and Trezor are best for holding Bitcoin for longer periods of time.
Electrum (desktop wallet app) with (offline or 2FA signing) is a good alternative as long as your device that Electrum is installed on is kept secure.
Blockchain.com wallet is solid for a few days/week and moving bitcoin around.
Just make sure to keep your devices with crypto on them secure as possible.Comment -

#31Yes to Trezor and Exodus. Trezor does ethereum and ERC-20 coins in conjunction with myetherwallet.com
Exodus is easier - just send the Tether to Exodus. You won't have the security of the Trezor (or Ledger), though.
Don't know about Electrum. It was Bitcoin only the short time I used it....
Edit: come to think of it, Exodus has a feature to tie in your Trezor, now. I haven't used it, yet, but it is there if you want the extra security....Comment -

#32Important to own your private keys. So a good solution would be a hardware wallet (Trezor, Ledger) + Electrum.Comment -
