YouWager's position is that the player used a robot on 20% of his wagers. During their review of his wagers, they identified patterns that they felt were consistent with robot use. What YouWager considered to be the most obvious example was after applying limits of $1, a wager was placed within 20 seconds of adjusting the line.

SBR spoke with senior YouWager staff during the course of the complaint. The rule in question prohibiting robot play is not a rule unique to YouWager's terms and conditions, it is a rule that some bookmakers have, but SBR's position is that the enforcement of the rule should be to close accounts and pay on accepted wagers. While in hindsight we think risk management could have acted sooner, ultimately a resolution considered fair to both parties was worked out concluding the matter.

apparently the original offer (before sbr was involved) was $15,000 which clown didn't want any part of... so we can assume it's something between 15,001 and 77,721... my guess is that it's closer to the top end.

A 20 second response time after a line move is proof of a bot to Youwager? Was he supposedly running it on a 286 off of a floppy drive?

          Unbelievable.

Because unfortunately for the player, something is better than nothing. Still, complete bullshit rule and absolutely opens up future confiscations of player funds for whatever reason the book can manage to twist together. Added to my do not play list.

LOL Note the words "considered" and "they felt were consistent with" when they are talking about robot betting!

As I have already said 5 times, and now I know I still stand by it... There is NO WAY to "solidly" prove a player used a robot, so they give non proven reasons why they "Considered" that he used a robot!

LOL So now every player at You wager who gets limited to $1 and then makes a bet "within 20 seconds of adjusting the line" will be "considered" and "felt like" they may have used a robot and then have their money stolen?

Well OK then, whomever would still deposit at youWager under those absurd circumstances deserves to have their money stolen!

Absolutely right. They waited until he decided to withdraw before they said anything. They wanted to see if he'd lose his money first. This book has an A rating on SBR? It should be a D, a C maximum.

The old SBR would have named the amount paid.

Anyway, once sports betting is legal in the US, guess what will happen to offshore... When it all comes crashing down, how many books are going to pay out, and how many will take the money and run?

So if you accidentally plays a bet (or bets) within 10 sec. after line movement Youwager can treat you like a bot ? LOL. Anyway can we know at the end how much they stole, and how it affects sbr rating?
