    5dimes ** problem (Need help)

    Hi, I sent a $100 deposit via ** to 5dimes, and the person at the store had the currency in pesos instead of USD and I can't go back now to change it and have tried calling ********** and don't understand the automated system they have and I emailed them and really don't have the patience for them to email me back, has anyone been in this situation before or have any suggestions?

    They are a good book they may be able to collect in local currency I know must books do ask them

    Yeah, I called I have to go back to the store tommorow and see if they can change it and if not M G gave me a ref number to get a refund.

    Next time make sure you ask them to be picked up in usd currency its a pain but its ** fault not the book

    Ya ive gone through this. Had to go back and have it cancelled then had to resend. was a huge PITA but gotta make sure its sent in USD.

    Hmmm. I have had this problem before at **. where the sender must specify that the money needs to be sent in US dollars. But ** never had an issue with Dollars vs. the local currency --- I have never had to specify which currency to send it in, and I believe it has always been in the local currency.

    it just depends on what country u are sending the deposit to...some countries it automatically goes into U.S. dollars, and sometimes it HAS to be requested...always ask the clerk to make sure the option isnt there for USD, if there is an option they need to make sure they change it

    mostly u always just need to check this with the unnnon, not the walmart type...W/0U u definatley you just always need to make sure to save u a headache later...plus u need to know this, becuase some of the reps typing it in for u dont have any clue sometimes
