Win4Real and sister sportsbook Racebook.com confiscate player's deposits
Win4Real (SBR rating C-) and sister sportsbook Racebook.com (SBR rating C-) confiscate player's deposits

The sportsbook management states it applied the punishment after the player's limits were lowered at a third book in the family, Sportsbetting.com (SBR rating C-).

The bettor had an account at Sportsbetting.com, had his betting limits reduced, and subsequently deposited and won at both Win4Real and Racebook.

The player was aware that he could make similar bets at Win4Real and Racebook and placed the same wagers for different amounts at all three sportsbooks in a three day period. The amount risked per play exceeded the limit given to him at Sportsbetting.com. SBR has asked Sportsbetting.com to return the player's deposits of $800. SBR's position is that the sportsbook should not benefit from the player's actions.

The Sportsbetting.com family of books currently has a rule stating that only one sportsbook within the book's family can be utilized. SBR will address the secondary issue of if the sportsbook had this rule in place when the player made these deposits. He won $6,400 in wagers that were not honored.

Under normal circumstances a sports betting company with multiple brands is expected to honor wagers within them and manage or close accounts thereafter.

I bet if he lost over that 3 day period, they would not be voiding the wagers. Free rollers. Sportsbetting has always been shady in my mind.

Why does Win4Real sound to me like the name of a book Dac would start up?

Just sounds like a scam book.

The Sportsbetting group has been around a long time and took steps to distinguish itself from the Sportsbook.com scams. If they start punishing players for signing up at different books they own, they will be downgraded as well. Players already complain the C- is too high for the amount of processing problems they have had over the past year.

Sportsbetting.com (SBR rating C-) leaves Jazette Ltd. (Sportsbook.com Family) customer service
Sportsbetting.com has removed the service provider's phone number from its website as the first Jazette-affiliated sportsbook not to utilize any of the operation's client support system and staff management. The book will provide its own customer service and accounting department. Sportsbetting has not offered a phone support line of its own but states it is "upgrading its phones service" and is asking players to use its LiveChat feature. Sportsbetting continues to use Sportsbook.com's World Gaming software and line management system. The move is expected to be followed by other Sportsbook.com partner books that want to avoid providing poor customer service and the unethical actions taken by Jazette management. SBR will closely monitor new payout request and player support services.

Win4Real and Racebook.com (SBR rating C-) agree to pay player for confiscated deposits totaling $800.

The dispute over the winning wagers continues. SBR is seeking more information about the bets and the date the cited rule was added to the Sportsbetting.com Group's websites. The original complaint was reported April 29th:

Win4Real, Racebook, and Sportsbetting.com are the only three brands this non-standard rule applies to.

Sportsbetting.com is still under the Jazette umbrella but they handle their own customer service, accounting, and management.
