just a heads up if you can cash the check its better. I have had checks bounce over a week after it cleared my bank....they come after you for the funds. It all gets worked out but its a headache

I looked on the net, none of those financial institutions exist in my state. I had to bite the bullett and deposit it. My bank said it will take 5 days to clear.

And how does a check bounce after it clears?

And how did you "work it out?"

I should also mention that I looked up both financial institutions that were affiliated with my check. Both are legitimate enterprises within the US.

International checks can take a while to work through the system. Your bank may or may not put a hold on some/all of the amount. My bank doesn't put a hold on any of my checks regardless of how ridiculously sketchy they look (On that note: CR pls stop making checks that look like a 12 year old aspiring fraudster made them in his basement)

Well for example my bank clears ALL funds overnight for me becasue I'm a business customer. So it appears to be avaiable to me. It may be 3 or 4 days for you but those funds are not CLEAR. Don't listen to anyone at the bank they will tell you they are clear but this is not true. It had been 4 weeks after the check had been placed in the bank when I logged on and saw the mess I knew the banker we worked it out send the info to sportsbook.com and I got a new check in a few days from a different account. i think you will be cool bro it has nothing to do with the bank name. it could be anything and could bounce. Well jerked around? I guess the answer is YES but once you go through with the process and begin to understand what is going on it's becomes like clockwork.

I have had 30K in these accounts and put in for 100 dollar checks to see what was going on and had to wait months for it to come. The entire system is a mess to be honest with you and its all about your comfort level.

No matter what anyone says your money really isn't safe with any of these books. Do I believe sportsbook.com/bookmaker/5dimes are going to scam you , no but anything can happen and your money isn't insured.

If you play for 100 dollars a game keep 1000 at these places MAX. I'm thinking this is the type of player you are but don't play at bookmaker betjam any place that charges you to take out money. I would suggest getting set up with use my wallet with sportsbook.com It's excellent and when I want a check I flip the money from sportsbook.com to usemy wallet to carib and carib charges me for a check but i get it in 2 days.

I use wires at sportsbetting (no problems at all free)

Yeah, I wish I would have known about this site before I deposited my money.

That being said, so far Sportsbook.com has been expedient and courteous with me. It was kind of frustrating at first when they asked me to send and resend my Photo ID. They delivered their check faster than I imagined (considering the horror stories I've read), but in hindsight I should have stuck with the Bank wire transfer option.

It's day 2 right now since I deposited my check...It was from an American Bank so I imagine I'll find out in a couple weeks if it bounces or not.

So *********** and Bank wires are the best way to go you would say?

Update: My bank takes 5 business days to clear out of state checks. My check should clear by Wednesday...but I'm going to wait 2 weeks before I assume the funds in my account are accounted for.

Must wait 30+ business days to be totally sure. There have been checks that cleared within 3-5 business days and then "bounced" two weeks later. Don't trust it after just two weeks. Wait longer to be sure.

Im still going to wait a couple more weeks just to make sure it doesn't bounce.

After 6 months Sportsbook.com will allow you to set up a *********** account and that takes only about 5 days to get the money deposited into your bank account.
