Betting Max on a game question..
I started out betting at sportsbook.com about 6 years ago, not knowing what I know now obviously. However, whenever I needed a bet that exceeded the max, I could always talk to customer support through chat and get it upgraded.

Now, since that time I have switched over to many reputable books. When I got to 1 site(i will leave the name out), they either didn't have chat at the time, or I was unaware of it. The max bet on this particular game was $2,000. I placed the bet for $2,000 and then placed an exact identical bet for $2,000(to this day, i am sure that there was no line movement). On sportsbook.com it tells you that you are over the limit and won't accept more bets, I figured this would happen here too, but wanted to try because I wanted the extra bet. It ended up accepting my bet.

The game lost. The question is, do you think that book wouldve refunded my $2000 on the second bet if I had won and not paid me for it, or would they have paid me the 4k total? I'm not trying to get my money back, because I'm sure its a waste of time anyway.. I just wanted opinions.

Also, lets say I want to bet quarter lines. Is it ok to max out sister books on this or is that not really allowed?

If you're betting 1k+ a bet at Sportsbook.com, expect to get screwed.

It depends entirely on the book. Any A+ rated books would pay for sure.

Some will let you bet as many max bets as you want provided they have the chance to move the line.

Some crappy books with shitty software probably would fuss.

Last question: DSI/Bookmaker do not care for this. They will pay though and tell you not to do it anymore. I would assume the same for Greek/BetJM

On the first question, if it's a reputable book and you wait a few minutes in between the plays then you shouldn't have a problem.

On the second question, you should call them and ask what their policy is. Most likely they will tell you to wait some period of time in between the plays.

I wouldn't worry about Greek/JM as they are not sister books in the sense that dsi/bookmaker are.
