Got a cold call from a JustBet rep, who recently left Looselines. They have a solid B+ rating, but I'd like some first hand info. What do you like/dislike about this Book?

#2Last I remember reading about JustBet (SBR Rated B+) is that they do accept credit card deposits (3-4 weeks ago), which is a plus for players looking for easy payment solutions. They do have vanilla lines but no overnight lines, as well as close their customer service department after the last game tips on the west coast.
Not that this really matters to U.S. players, however their is a $750 max a week payout via Moneybookers, which does tend to detract some players, however you must remember they are a recreational type book.
I'd say overall the rating is fair for what they offer HH.Comment -

#3Short term distraction (if the offer was good), but not near a long term solution.Comment -

#4That's something I did forget to mention in my previous post, Katstale. I believe they have either a 30 or 60 day hold on your funds before you can request a withdraw.Comment -

#5Thanks, Dan & Kat. They offer a generous 20% Cash Bonus (5x roll)--maybe worth a small investment.Comment -

#6Correct, BBD. It's mom and pop stuff. And that $750 a week withdraw takes on new meaning when you start tallying up central american banking holidays where there people in "that department" are off. And now that they know you answer the phone....... lolComment -

#9Apart from what has already been said . . .
While their pointspreads are generally pretty blah, they have occasional decent moneylines and pucklines, particularly on the favorite side. The limits on those are lower - $250 - at least they are for me. I think we have established they are now that for everyone.
I would find decent MLB lines too. Sporadically but they turn up.
When JB offers me a bonus, I take it. I can work with them. I feel like funds are safe there. I would never have a huge balance there anyway.Comment -

#11If you have a >$3k balance, you can ask for a bank transfer, $90 fixed fee.
Otherwise, OKish book, I use em occasionally. Think they do 10c for mlb though, but default limits seem to be $250 now, which is poor. They offered me a tasty bonus though, 50% freeplay on $5k deposit, so can't really complain.Comment -

#1250% freeplay on 5K is a nice deal no doubt, but that's a lot of work at a low-limit book like JB. I guess it depends on the rollover.
I have $500 limits on spreads (NBA, NCAAB, NFL). Those were my limits on MLB ML's last baseball season - right to the end. I hope it resumes next season.
But I guess it might change because I used to have $500 on other ML's and PL's and that changed just in the last few months.
As a book, JB seems to be going from CAUTIOUS, to CAUTIOUS.
At least they are upfront about who they are. They are a rec book period and they don't try to sucker guys in and take free shots like a few books I could name.
I can't tell you much about props and futures. I don't play them at all these days. Looking at the site now, I don't see much but it's early. All I can tell you is, last time I deposited I got a free Super Bowl future and the odds were atrocious.Comment -

#13Careful with the rollover ... I called the other day to check my status, and in addition to confirming that they use the lower of risk/win in calculating the rollover, they also told me that any bet that you make using a line higher than -200 doesn't count towards the rollover at all ... not cool.
Personally .. $500 limits on most stuff, $100 on props/futures ... so it takes awhile to grind through the rollover.
Having said that, their reload bonuses are usually good enough to put up with the negative stuff that I mentioned.
