how many years have we all known that sbr ratings are bought? you have to be a complete noob who only came here looking for a rating in order to trust them...(which i bet is a very VERY small% of the people from here that signed up at BI ) the rest of you knew, beyond any doubt that sbr ratings are not to be trusted... so when you come here (except for a few) and claim you only signed up because of the rating and banner, you are full of shit... you signed up because of the ridiculous bonuses, .5 etc. and more importantly, POSTER FEEDBACK...not because of sbr and all you are doing now is blaming them... there is no doubt that people here dont trust sbr, yet trust what they read in posts and give in to easy bonuses... those 2 things, imo, had way more effect on getting posters to bi, than any banner or rating.... this "we trusted sbr" is an awful excuse...nobody has trusted them in years
as far as sbr... if they waited and withheld info they knew to be true and allowed people to deposit when their money was dead, they deserve all the shit thrown at them (except the we trust them and thats why we deposited part) and should be labeled crooks...
as always, just my opinion..

i am sorry to say this to you but 5dimes and youwager would careless if you stop depositing with them.. you are just one player.. tony even said it to couple of ppl who went to live chat that there won't be an kind of bailout from 5dimes. according to tony, he thinks you and I are stupid... well.. everyone who played with betislands.

there you go get, off ur asses here and start searching for answers about bailouts, they are out there.
Dear former Bet Islands customers,
After BetIslands ceased operations this week, players have been left wondering about their deposits and winnings and BI employees without a paycheck. While there has been plenty of finger pointing going around, EZ Street has decided to step up and try to help as many people as possible affected by this situation.
Prior to the closure of BI, we attempted to step in and save it, but we were unable to obtain a proper audit of the nearly 2 million in account balances. There were multiple reasons for this, including poor management and a high number of sharps, bonus manipulators and syndicate players.
Because of this, a blanket bailout program is not feasible as certain accounts, identities, deposits and balances can never be truly verified. We understand that some will not be happy to hear this, but we want to be upfront so there are no unrealistic expectations.
We have spent the past week working on details of a possible bailout program. We hope this program will help brighten the holidays for both players and ex-employees.
In the following days we will be sending out an email with a generous bailout offer to many of the affected customers. To help expedite the situation we are offering employment to ex-BI account managers and customer service workers. We have partnered with the RX sports forum to document that everyone that has been invited to participate has been given everything they were promised in a professional and timely manner. Because so many players have been affected it will take us a few days to get to all of you.

Sounds like they want to cherry pick "recreational player" accounts. I say that because their explanation of why they can only bailout selected accounts just makes no sense. Still good knews for some players.

I must be drunk. This is EZStreet? They have close connections to BI. They probably share(d) owners.
They have "hired" some ex-BI account managers? Haha, it's basically the same company. Word is they were already sharing office space. EZStreet is attempting to keep the square customers they just stiffed. They want to cherry pick the accounts they feel they can profit off of, without admitting any affiliation with BetIslands.
Whatever you do, DON'T DEPOSIT.

You could very well be right, they might not care about losing by business..but i will give them the opportunity to offer me something and if they decline i will close my account, i dont lose anything by asking..but im still hoping to get some good news from SBR, hoping to hear soon what happened from those meetings where our bailout was discussed.

EZ Street bailout...LMAO. Maybe after they cherry-pick accounts. If anyone thinks that Sleazy Street is going to step in and start paying off all the stiffed players without going to something like 100,000x rollover, keep dreaming.
EZ Street is run by scum and don't get your hopes up. Sleazy Street and BI have a connection already and it makes me howl with laughter when they talk about "poor management."

I still think the end result would be me getting stiffed..even if i completed the rollover and still had money in my account i dont like my chances of them paying me..but if the two options are a bailout by ezstreet or nothing..i gotta go with option #1.

This don't have any logic......first you played at a stiff book where you wasted time and energy and now you want a bailout from another stiff book to waste more time and energy....chalk it up!

You obviously didn't read my post..If my only 2 options are a bailout by ezstreet or nothing..i will take the bailout and hope im wrong about being stiffed..i think i would get stiffed but i cant say for sure...i remember about 3 years ago i got some offer in the mail for a free play with no deposit required..i checked the rating and they were like a D..i think it was oddsmaker..i accepted and hit a nice roll during baseball season..i requested an $800 check and wasnt expecting it, i was shocked and they paid me..do you see the logic now? any chance is better than zero..it's easy for you to tell me to chalk it up..its not your $6,521..i will listen to offers.

A lot of the people that have been around a while know damn well EZ Street has problems and there has been many issues with them. If we end up seeing an EZ street banner on SBR in the future you can say goodbye to all integrity this site had/has. Will be interesting to see if EZ Steet and EZ Marvin aka Gabe aka Raul becomes the new forum touted book, we will see.

Convo between EZ and BI over some coke one night before BI collapse.
EZ: Now that we have basically merged both our companies and all of our employees, what is the point of running 2 books?
BI: None.
EZ: Well which book should we get rid of?
BI: Well we have more sharps and have been running in the Red so we should probably keep your book.
EZ: Okay, makes sense.
BI: DUDEEEE EZZ
EZ: Yeah man?
BI: I have the best penetrating idea. How about we stiff all of my customers. We could steal most of their balances, but it won't matter because we are continuing in your name!
EZ: Yeah that's brilliant! We could even offer a "bailout" to some of the recreational players, and improve our reputation.
BI: So we can make money by stiffing our clients, while overall improving our public reputation AND only have to run one book going forward?
EZ: Yes man lets do it, these idiots won't figure it out.
