#1518Monaco's typical casualness doing their best to throw this away! Some terrible defending again giving Arles an open goal and play taps it wide! Then Riviere misses a one-on-one with keeper tryin to be too cuteComment -

Monaco win 2-0 in a game where they could easily have been a couple goals down early on if Arles had more composure.
Bayern should beat Schalke comfortably at weekend and complete the double. Schalke are going to struggle in this second-half of season without Lewis Holtby who was a key part of their attacking play in linking up with Farfan and Huntelaar...without him you've got two decent strikers that are going to suffer without a creative midfielder behind them. This was demonstrated this past weekend when they only managed to score one goal against bottom of the league Greuther Furth and ended up losing 2-1, and also the weekend before when they drew 0-0 at Augsburg. It's hard to imagine them scoring too if at all against a Bayern side that have only conceded 7 goals all season in the league. I think Schalke's only hope is that some of the Bayern players suffer from having to play for their National Side mid-week and perhaps this international break ruins their momentum.Comment -

#1524yeah usually lots of goals in Real Madrid B games, wouldnt be surprised if Almeria pull one back. Was gonna play Over 3 but it was -150 or something, bit too steep for meComment -

#1525Yeovil PK @ +103 away at Oldham in League One...
Tonight we have the most in-form team playing away at Oldham who happen to have the worst form in the league. Yeovil have won 5 league games on the bounce and managed to beat three promotion-rivals in a row in Sheff Utd, MK Dons, & Brentford. They have a quality partnership up front and a solid balance of youth and expierence with in-form 22 year old Madden who has netted 7 goals in last 4 games, and 33 year old Hayter who has 8 goals in 28 appearances so far this season and has been banging goals in for years at this level. Oldham meanwhile have lost 8 out of their last 9 league games, and I feel are ultimately being slightly over-valued because of their shock Cup wins against Notts Forest and Liverpool. They sacked Manager Paul Dickov at weekend so a youth coach will be in charge tonight. Oldham have some decent players and have signed Barnard from Southampton who can score goals at this level, but they will be missing M'Changama (16 apps, 1 goal), and Smith (24 apps, 3 goals) tonight. Their is a pitch inspection due shortly as a result of the snow that fell last night up North but it should be fine once cleared away. I wouldnt be surprised if Oldham push for it to be postponed though seeing as they don't have a Manager at moment and team is unsettled!Comment -

#1526Also tiny bet on Colchester PK @ +201 at home to Swindon.
Swindon have a number of players out and Di Canio is pissed-off because players like Matt Ritchie left. Colchester might be able to scrape a win out of this.
Parlay (double): Coventry PK (-275) and Scunthorpe PK (-450).Comment -

#1533bet365 limited me to pennies a long time ago. I pretty much just use Pinnacle now. Do majority of parlays on Paddy, William Hill and Skybet but can only get between 20 to 60 quid down on them on those sitesComment -

#1537Not really, I've been messing about with very small bet amounts for months trying to find a strategy that works for me before actually risking any proper money.
I seem to have developed a fairly aggressive betting style that seems to work for me, I tend to place 3 - 5 bets per day, each consisting of around 10% of my starting bankroll that morning. The bets are usually doubles and trebles consisting of ultra safe, very carefully researched picks, usually Asian Handicap 0.0 for favourites and +1 or +2 for dogs, some overs as well.
A couple of weeks ago I set aside £50 and starting placing £5 bets, I had a great run and got that to around £120 within a couple of days, I now have around £260 so my bets today are £26 each. I expect I'll take some hard losses fairly soon however I tend to find that being careful most of my losses are actually pushes and I can reclaim any actual losses relatively quickly.
My aim is to keep pushing up the bankroll up to around £1k, then start again, (ambitious I know), however even if I was able to pull it off, I suspect Bet365 won't let me. I just don't see many other books that have the range of Asian Handicaps etc that my style of betting relies on.Comment -

So as long as you aren't scalping and getting their opening lines, and not winning hundreds of pounds from a bet you should be fine on Bet365 for a while.Comment -

#1540well im in the same pay-scale, maybe a little larger, and i've brought my last $7 up to over 1k before, no limit. i've deposited 150 and got up to 1500 before, no limit. don'e similar for 2 years with them and never been limited. i also do lose some big amounts after i've built the little amounts up though
I'll honestly be happy if I am able to place £50 wagers, based on what I'm doing now that's a £500 balance, I'd probably be looking to withdraw some anyway. What kind of bets do you tend to place?Comment
