i can't pass up the value on the red sox today...they do have a couple injuries and papi is suspended but they are still the best team in the league in my opinion. David Price from the Rays is overrated and Miller is 3-0 this season, let's do this:

And now for the degenerate gambler play of the year, women's soccer. I have never been interested in women's soccer, but I have been following this world cup and it has been intriguing. Don't get me wrong, after tomorrow I will be done with that and on to the real thing (EPL, La Liga, Serie A, etc.) but I'm making this play for the final. I'm an american through and through, but I feel that the USA team is being overrated going into this final. Japan has impressed me by beating both the germans and the swedes. USA were literally seconds away from being tossed out against Brazil and then were unimpressive against france until the last 10 minutes. And for everyone who thinks the US team is the "feel good" story of the tournament...please re-examine that thought and look at the footage from the devastating earthquake in Japan not too long ago. If any team has a feel good journey to the cup it is Japan. I may be way off comparing this to the NFL but look at what the Saints did a few years after hurricane Katrina. They were playing the favored Colts in the superbowl and dominated them in that game. LETS DO THIS

i'm officially done with baseball for now. If I had a huge bankroll i would just chase the yankees until they win; this method would work if you can withstand a good hit to the BR after 3-4 losses in a row. But this is poor money management and I'm more interested in soccer anyways. The 30 unit play on the Colts for nfl week 1 looks less appetizing now. With the lockout drama and Manning going to miss training camp i can see the Texans becoming favorites - this is the disadvantage of making a bet 2 months in advance.
