Why don't they stop the clock?

A ,lot of people wanted USA to lose...so we didnt want the clock to stop

Including me Reason the clock doesn't stop because its not part of the game. Clock continues to run because the ref adds on a certain amount of minutes at the end of the half to whatever he wants. Keeps the flow of the game going or else i'd probably fall asleep no joke.

FIFA should change the rules, we Americans don't like them. Better yet, make it like American Football. After all, it's the greatest sport in the GALAXY. Oh and by the way, we only watch soccer once every four years.
