Lanus have been very average on the road , where they use a defensive 4 - 4 - 1 formation . At home they tend to play more of an attacking style which produced some wild results ( 2 - 2 , 3 - 3 , 1 - 1 , 3 - 3 ). With Barracas winning the lower division title last season , they opened their promotion at Central Cordoba with a 3 - 1 loss. On the road they are a very average side , even against lower tier teams. Lanus are 4th in payroll amongst the top tiered teams of Argentina ( approx $ 48 mill to Barraccas at $ 6 mill ). It should be another road loss against a superior club tonight. Its 29c and clear skies in Lanus

Im sure Pool would be happy to bring this 2 leg series home with a draw in Italy and a chance to wrap it up on home soil. That said , goals on the road are golden and Inter are missing 2 key midfielders in Barrella and Correra. I think as the game wears on , Inter will feel frustrated by Pool's midfield dominance and attempt to force the issue. No disrespect to a very talented Italian side , just feel this one tilts to Pool today.

!st legs in any competition tend to be cat and mouse type of games. These two have very little between them so a home result , or away goal , could be key to deciding this tie. Porto play a 4-4-2 formation to create from a possession oriented midfield. Lazio tend to use a 4-3-3 formation , so offense will also be created through a possession type of midfield. Another entertaining game on tap. Barca are a reformed side that have finally begun to find some form under manager Xavi. They can certainly find the back of the net , as their recent results suggest ( 2 - 2 , 4 - 2 , 1 - 0 , 3 - 2 , 2 - 3 ). The problem is their leaky back 4 line. Napoli are equally adept at finding the net but defend much better then Barca. With Barca needing to get a home result worthy of taking to the road back in Italy , i can see both teams finding the score sheet today. 14c and sunny in Barcelona
