Colombia are the team in dire need of points in this game. Argentina sit firmly in a qualifying position in 2nd place , with a big gap to 5th spot Peru who are 12 points back. Colombia are on the outside looking in, and a 6 game run of not scoring a single goal has them lacking in confidence. With Argentina on home soil , and no Messi or Dybala to draw from , the depth in the defensive game has been spot on this campaign. These 2 last met on Nov 11th of last year at this same venue. The result was a 3 - 1 win for R.Vallecano in which both sides had plenty of scoring chances ( 15 - 11 shots at goal ). R.Vallecano's last home game was a 1 - 0 loss to Atl Bilbao , who are a step up in talent to Mallorca , and the game was all R. Vallecano. They owned 67% of the possession and peppered Bilbao's goal with 29 shots while conceding only 9. Real Soceidad are fresh off a 4 - 0 whipping at the hands of Real Betis 3 days ago. It was a tough end to a decent Copa run , but they did create several opportunities early in the game that may have turned the tide. Valencia played the day before and won their cup tie 2 - 1 over minnow Cadiz. Looking at Real Soceidad's scoring woes of late , any over would seem foolish. Still , this game is against a side that plays a free flowing style of football and the generous price is only available due to Soceidad's recent form.
