If the trend is your friend , this one fits the bill. Spurs are a resurgent side since the arrival of Conte as manager. He has them playing with a greater discipline both on the ball and in defense. They are undefeated in league play since his arrival and have a 2 - 1 home win over West Ham , who demolished Watford on home soil 4 - 1 recently. Watford do not have deep pockets , so they are limited on reserves to draw from. Since both forward Sarr and defender Nkoulou went down , they have lost 5 straight. They add experienced defender Kiko to that list against Spurs. Getting a result tomorrow seems to be a major hurdle for Watford right nowComment -

Villareal are in excellent form right now. They have won 6 straight in all competitions while scoring 25 and conceding 6. Sporting Gijon have been very inconsistent this season with only 2 wins , 4 draws and 4 losses in their last 10. I dont see Villareal making wholesale changes at a stretch in the season where they will have a decent break of 11 days after a league match against A.Madrid on Sunday. The weather is slated to be 13c and partially cloudy , so Villareal should be able to keep it rolling tomorrow.

Both teams played on Thursday in Copa del Rey. Villarreal chose to rest the majority of their starters , and subbed in Moreno to start the 2nd half and Parejo late. Thy were 2 - 1 losers at Gijon. Atletico Madrid traveled to Rayo Majadahonda , who are essentially a 3rd division side , and used a number of 1st team players. Suarez incurred an injury in that meaningless game and will miss todays affair, along with fellow strike partner Greizmann. Giminez will sit todays game with a yellow card accumulation.
