My quick two cents on this match I don't see any way they lose to Tigre as RC has one of the best defenses in the league. Also Tigre really is a bad squad and still haven't won a match this season they would be satisfied with a draw, but RC should be able to score as they have performed well on the road this season.

Lanus has an away win over Velez who is second in the league standings right now, and then in their most recent away match they beat Rafaela scoring two goals. Independiente have been in good form as they haven’t lost in any their last four matches, but they were also playing against weaker caliber teams. Lanus is a good squad they still have a chance for league title if they can continue to win.

Tranmere on the other hand have been in great from and that is mainly due to Cassidy, and this will be his last game on loan before returning back to Wolverhampton so I expect him to put on a show.

Traore and Eto'o will start up top for Anzhi who needs to win this game so they will be applying pressure and attacking. Liverpool did beat them at home but today they will put out a completely different team as Gerrard and Suarez have been left at home so they will need Shelvey to create chances. This will be difficult as Anzhi has been amazing at home in their league play with 14 wins and a draw this season. Anzhi should be able to handle Liverpool as they will not only rest just Gerrard and Suarez but many others as they are more concerned with their form on Sunday when they face Chelsea. I also like the under and might make a play on that as well.

Tottenham are coming off back-to-back losses against Norwich City and then at home against Wigan Athletic, and haven’t been looking very good this season. These two squads met already and that ended in a draw. I really like Maribor as I have followed them in the SNL where they sit at the top. Now of course the SNL is not as tough as the EPL but Maribor would love to send Tottenham out of the competition. Also Adebayor is still going to be on the bench for this match and Defore will be up top, which is huge as Adebayor is one of the greatest strikers in the world. This should be an interesting match as Tottenham needs a win for their loyal supporters, but Maribor should be able to keep it close.

The reason for this recent run is the defensive side of this club as they have three clean sheets in their last five matches. This afternoon they travel to face Nancy who has gone without a win since the season opener, which obviously places them at the bottom of the standings. The reason for this awful season is they haven’t been able to create anything offensively scoring only four goals so far, and I don’t see any reason for that to change against this strong defense. Rennes should be able to maintain form and pick another three points.

Portuguesa haven’t scored in any of their last four matches. This should be an easy match for Botafogo even if Seedorf is on the bench, but it looks like he is going to play. Botafogo has a stellar defense that should be able to continue Portuguesas shutout streak and this offense will have no problemcreating chances. I really like Botafogo and I just don't see how they wont grab the three points here.
