I like a little country music. But today's country is really bad rock. If you can get a career in country music, you can go on forever like Brad Paisley it is so bad. The Rolling Stones did better country than the crap they put out now.

I do not mind female singers in country.I love Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert.I found a few thru facebook Like Jessica Lynn and Celeste Kellogg.I read a story that Program directors of radio stations are told not to play female artists because they change the channel if a female comes on, Because they just want to hear the big buff guys like Kenny Chesney ect.Maron Morris is cool I love that song my church.

New generation of country singers suck. There are always some exceptions.

Alt-Country is my favorite music ever. The genre came around in the 90s, as a response to the shit not-really-country music that was starting to come out (Shania, Keith Urban, Toby Keith etc).

It can either kick your ass...

Or be deep and meaningful

Either way, it borrows from some of the older stuff, but it's completely its own thing. F'kin love it.

Just so bad now. I could write a damn song right now in 10 minutes that would be on the current level. I mean, it never was very deep, but it wasn't this bad. To each their own though. A lot of family loves Country. Older stuff, though, I believe. Music gives me a headache these days from all genres.
