#110I live and breathe cbb. I am not talking about blindly fading SEC teams. I am saying there will be good opportunities on heavily inflated lines on these teams especially in early rounds because of the hype. Do they have some solid teams? Ya, but there is no team I can point to and say they are going to win. There is no team head and shoulders above the rest imo. I think Florida is the best team in that conference to be honest. At the end of the day yes SEC has the deepest conference this season by a pretty wide margin but many of these teams won't make it to the 2nd weekend. If I am wrong you can come in this thread and tell me about it but I am not drinking the koolaid. I listened to it all last season with SEC this and that. Then after 1st round I didn't see many left and I don't necessarily see much of a difference from last year to this year.
I’m not so sure, you will find inflated lines with the top tiered teams. Those teams are so much better than the field. I think we see a lot of blowouts versus upsets. NIL and Covid has the top teams loading up on old, grown ass men.Comment -

I've been catching up on all the mid-majors, because from what I see there is no standout team except maybe Auburn, there might me another St. Peters from a couple of years ago that can get on a magic carpet ride to the elite eight.
Gators have a nice team, but their last two games didn't wow me.Comment -

I like how you try and make every UConn game out to be "huge". Tournament UConn? So they weren't trying the whole time but today is when they are going to be tournament ready?Fuk man, sometimes I wonder if you are even paying any attention to anything in cbb.

#117I think the SEC beating up on each other the last couple of months will bring those lines down not up. Maybe the top teams but not the rest. You see a team like Vandy (17-9) and say, hey they have 9 losses, they can’t be very good or a MS State at 19-7, until you realize mostly all their losses are in the SEC. These teams will be undervalued IMO.

But you basically made my point with your second paragraph. ESPN has programmed you, like many others, that SEC is so dominate so every square will be lining up to take their lines. Maybe this year SEC will live up to the hype but I can almost guarantee you many of these "upper tier" SEC teams won't even see the sweet 16 because in reality they aren't that dominate.Comment -

#120Anyone who's ever tracked your plays has had you in the red, without exception.
You'll inevitably throw in the towel and beg them to stop tracking your plays like you do every year.
UConn is a laughable pick for the chip.Comment -

#121And just so we're clear, people who haven't tracked your plays over the years also have you in the red.
It doesn't take a balance sheet or an accounting degree to infer that you've staked a permanent residence in the red.
Any objections to that, buttmunch?Comment -

duke has about a 80-90% chance of winning
UConn only 5%

#138At no point in the season did UConn ever show signs of being that team... They had one little comeback against Creighton and you got rock hard thinking you'd spotted a champion. I guarantee that was your ill-fated "light bulb" moment. Back to the drawing board you go.Comment -
