i watched a lot of those OOC games and the SEC teams looked different from the other conferences. They were much bigger, faster and stronger. The difference was glaring. I think the conference loaded up on grown ass men. A lot of grad students, married with children 6, 7 year players.

Saw the L7 Alab games. Each one is versus a ranked opponent.

This is not the year to fade SEC teams. I’ve watched a lot of CBB through the years. These teams are built different.

I live and breathe cbb. I am not talking about blindly fading SEC teams. I am saying there will be good opportunities on heavily inflated lines on these teams especially in early rounds because of the hype. Do they have some solid teams? Ya, but there is no team I can point to and say they are going to win. There is no team head and shoulders above the rest imo. I think Florida is the best team in that conference to be honest. At the end of the day yes SEC has the deepest conference this season by a pretty wide margin but many of these teams won't make it to the 2nd weekend. If I am wrong you can come in this thread and tell me about it but I am not drinking the koolaid. I listened to it all last season with SEC this and that. Then after 1st round I didn't see many left and I don't necessarily see much of a difference from last year to this year.

Thanks chuckles. You as well pal. I do get fired up about cbb because I love it and follow it religiously.

But ya, been a very good season. 65% last month and on pace for about 70% this month especially with today's outcomes. If Kentucky holds on it will be a clean sweeper of what I posted in Johnnies thread. I decided to throw the card in today but mainly just post plays in our SBR chat I have with some of the oldies that don't use this site anymore.

In all the years of data on KenPom.com only one team has ever won that was outside of the top 5. That team, UCONN. I love the Final Four pick. Also love them against the spread. Let us be reminded: Connecticut not only won the last two titles. They covered 12 straight spreads in the process. While not having the NBA talent as other teams before them, those 2 Huksy teams are no doubt the Greatest Basketball Teams of all Time if not just for the fact of the ATS record... Having said that: Bruce Pearl, Kalvin Sampson, and Rick Barnes will never cut the nets down.

Huskies were 18-7 at this point two seasons ago, fact of the matter is two seasons ago UCONN was a deeper team than this year, not to mention the 2023 team was trending up at this point and turning heads whereas this team is underachieving.

Nash I just went back and looked back at 22/23 they were 19-7(8-7) before winning on todays date 2/18 they only lost again once after that to marq in the big east tourney
