It has gotten so bad that i went downstairs at 3 AM to see two guys running out my front door with my Tv and my wifes jewelry. I thought it could not get any worse until i saw this guy running out of my kitchen. It is totally out of control.

Unbelievable how brave some of these people are. To enter a house with someone home. Their careers can't last long like that. I'm no thief but that can't be high on the SOP for that job. My house probably would not be hard to break in but it should be loud to get in.

I'm probably one of a small % that don't have a strong opinion on abortion in general, one way or the other. In normal cases with no complications, I am not for late term abortion, on the other hand in abnormal cases where the health of the mother is at risk or other complication exceptions should be made.

I agree you can't live in fear, and I would do what I could, with what I have, if someone is unlawfully on my property, or anywhere else, to defend my family and myself that said,
I was hunting from a very young age, by the time I was 12, just like my older brother and 3 sisters, we had a gun ourselves and was taught gun safety. I now own a house full of guns. (and they are loaded) If I thought that protected me from all danger, that would not be very smart. To think because you are armed that someone can't get you first, is very arrogant.
If someone is trying to break in your house that's one thing, maybe you hear them in time, but if I just want to harm you, I'm going to shoot you from 75-100 yards away.

I have been on the job when safety regulations, have been allowed to fall to the wayside with OSHSA hands tied to do anything about it because of the regulation being cut to save money over life or limb.
I've seen the CEO's and upper management get huge bonuses and resort trips right after the tax breaks hit. On the front line we still had to work short with no extra money for the ones providing the labor. Benefit packages still got smaller but that 13% or 14% tax break went somewhere. Stock buy backs and upper management pockets.
I worked at a corrugated paper mill that was one of the top 10 in the country with both production and net profits. Only 350 employees and the average profit was about $350 million net a year. We had another plant in Louisiana with 650 workers that did not produce like the one where I worked. They still didn't want to keep us 100% staffed and the tax breaks never helped.

I can't speak for the nation on this, however for, at least the last 25 years including the ones you bring up we have had stronger enforcement where I LIVE, more social workers going out checking on at risk children and the elderly. Calling the county police when there is a problem. House checks for convicted people that have to register where they live, and that they are not around kids. (I would be happy keeping them in jail.)

This, parents have no rights, is nothing new, it's been around my 55 years. When it started effecting issues that the GOP are for/or against did it become an issue. Crazy how in red states where red wins election by double digits they complain about an elected school board. Makes no sense.
