BREAKING: Sinclair just took a stand for truth and decency.

Despite ABC’s desperate attempt to revive Jimmy Kimmel’s
failing late-night program, Sinclair has confirmed that they
will pull Kimmel “indefinitely” from all of their ABC affiliates.

A spokesperson didn’t mince words:
“Beginning Tuesday night, Sinclair will be preempting Jimmy Kimmel Live!
across our ABC affiliate stations and replacing it with news programming. Discussions with ABC are ongoing as we evaluate the show’s potential return.”

This is the right call.

For too long, Kimmel has used his platform not for humor, not for unity,
but for vicious attacks on ordinary Americans who don’t share his politics.

He has mocked faith, insulted families, and demeaned patriots.
But his latest stunt—lying about Charlie Kirk’s murder and smearing
his widow Erika—crossed a line that cannot be ignored.

Sources say ABC executives themselves want Kimmel to apologize
directly to Erika Kirk.
And they’re right. No grieving wife should be subjected to such cruelty
on national television.

But let’s be clear…an apology is the bare minimum.
Erika should absolutely consider suing Jimmy Kimmel
for malicious defamation.
He deliberately spread falsehoods about her and her husband
in the wake of a tragedy.

That is not comedy.

That is not protected banter.

That is calculated slander with real harm.

Sinclair deserves praise for saying: enough is enough.
They’ve chosen truth over late-night propaganda, and millions of households
will be spared from Kimmel’s hateful rants.

The media will scream about “censorship.”
But this isn’t censorship.
This is accountability.

Free speech does not mean freedom from consequences.

I wouldn't say he is alienating his allies. It sounds like you use that term to imply that he is doing that on purpose. As if Trump sits down his his cabinet and says something like "Ok guy, I want some ideas on how the fukk can we alienate our allies?!"

Do owner's of sports teams hire GM's to discuss ideas on how to alienate themselves from the other teams or do they work on improving their club? I doubt the owner buys a team, decides to abandon ticket identification and just simply allows people to walk into their stadium on Sunday's without paying. That would be chaos. My parents immigrated to Canada when I was a baby. We did it legally. We has a choice between South Africa, USA or Canada. Most countries allowed legal immigration back then. An amount the country could handle. They invited people who mostly shared their values. No one suggested that was racist. All of that seems reasonable to me and I am sure it did back then.

My point, is that some things change for the good and some for the worse. Trump is fixing shit which is broken. That's not alienating. That's a media talking point. He's doing what needs to be done. Tough choices can be unpopular to those who are unwilling to admit it. It's much easier to do nothing. Canada is continuing to destroy itself by carrying on with Justin Trudeau's failed policies it seems. It's insane. The country deserves better. The people do.

I can't explain it. I can't explain why Canada and those allies do a lot of things. For example, I can't explain why the UK are arresting 30 people a day for things they say on social media or why they remove the English flag while allowing the Palestinian flag to be displayed or why they keep allowing so many illegals to enter the country.
