There's a big difference between one party controlling the White House + both chambers and the president being a dictator. A dictator doesn't have to bend to the ruling of judges the way Trump will.

There's no evidence the GOP will ban the filibuster, add/carve up states to give the GOP a permanent majority in the Senate, add 4 justices to the SCOTUS, say the 1st Amendment doesn't cover (how the GOP defines) hate speech, misinformation and bigotry, and give citizenship to 10-20 million foreigners simply because they'll give the GOP permanent power like the democrats were saying they would do with a small House majority, a 50-50 Senate and the White House under their control.
