Personally, I don't think we should be policing what is polite or not, or too rude, or too racist.

Or caring AT ALL about if someone is rightfully offended or not.

We only need to care about words if they affect SBR's business in terms of traffic. Be that through loss of search engine rankings or being so obnoxious it drives too many potential contributors to stop contributing.

If it offends the one person, that should be irrelevant in Players Talk.



What SteveK is doing with the "mod said you cant do this or that" and trying to hold that over other people over and again is the perfect example of why we should not. And why anything we do about other posters should not be discussed with other members.


If someone posts a racist word or phrase that might affect SBR's search engine rankings and Safe Search status, then delete it from the post and move on.

If they do it again, I'd ask them to stop doing it.

If they ignore us, a week or two ban.

If they come back and do it again, perma ban.
