WATCH: Cop Covers Camera As Fellow Cop Begins Savagely Beating Defenseless Man

Monroe County, TN — A video has been leaked by a family member of an inmate at the Monroe County Jail that paints a scene akin to something out of a Hollywood movie about corrupt cops. The incident happened in 2017, but the victim’s family never knew video existed until now.

The victim’s sister, Chelsea Costner Cole, brought the video to the attention of the jail immediately after she watched it. Only because she was brave enough to come forward with the video did the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation open an official inquiry.

Cole told WATE 6 that her brother, Steven Costner Jr. told her deputies did this to him nearly four years ago but they had no proof until she first saw the video last week.

“We kept trying to get answers, you know talking to his lawyer, trying to talk to the guy who was over the jail at the time but we just weren’t getting nowhere. We had no proof,” Cole told the media outlet.

In the clip, multiple deputies surround Costner and watch as one of them begins pummeling his face. Costner was completely defenseless as his hands were inside of his shirt. He was surrounded by deputies, posed no threat at all, and was attacked like an animal. Highlighting the sadistic nature of the officers, one of the deputies smiles as another grabs something to cover up the camera.

“As soon as I saw the video, I literally jumped up started crying, could not breathe and I just started calling my mom,” Cole said, adding that she wants everyone to spread this video so they can expose the deputies who would do this to a person.

“I’m happy that people are watching it. It’s making the community outraged. If they’re going to do it to him, they’re going to do it to other people and they’re going to keep doing it. Unless somebody stops them,” Cole said.

According to WATE, Steven Costner Jr. is in jail serving 8 years for manufacturing meth. According to the report, he was up for parole on Monday. His current status is unknown.

Though local media did not identify the officers involved, in a Facebook post, the person who uploaded the video identified the officer who began punching Costner as deputy Jim Laney. The person laughing in the video was identified as deputy Kaileb Skinner, and the person covering the camera was identified as Josh Davis.

After the video was brought to their attention, Monroe County Sheriff Tommy Jones released a statement notifying the public that Cole had brought them the video.

"On May 13, 2021, at around 3pm, a female subject who was visiting an inmate brought to Monroe County Sheriff Tommy Jones’ attention a video on social media, recorded in 2017.

Upon viewing the video, I saw four Correctional Officers in the former Monroe County jail. One of the Officers was in a verbal altercation with an inmate, which escalated into a physical altercation, and one of the officers covered the camera,” stated Sheriff Jones.

After viewing the video, Sheriff Jones contacted the District Attorney’s office to have them assess the video. He has requested a full investigation be conducted by the District Attorney’s office, TBI and FBI.

At this time, the Sheriff cannot comment further, due to this being an open investigation, but he did add that none of the officers in the video are currently employed at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Further information will be made available at the conclusion of the investigation."

Although Jones notes that the deputies are no longer employed at the sheriff’s office, he stopped short of mentioning any discipline in the matter or their reason for leaving.

It is highly likely that they were allowed to quietly resign to avoid accountability for what you see in the video below.

Officer of the Year Confesses to Child Rape Ring, Names Fellow Cops, Then Kills Himself

Liberty County, TX — Last week, a standoff took place between Liberty County law enforcement and a fellow cop from one county over. Harris County Precinct 1 deputy Robert Johnson engaged in a standoff with multiple SWAT officers for several hours before taking his own life. After his suicide, we learned that during this standoff, this decorated Houston cop had confessed to utterly horrifying crimes against children. He also named names.

According to authorities in Liberty County, Johnson became the subject of an investigation earlier this month over allegations he had sexually abused a child. KPRC reports:

"On May 14, the investigation began when a dispatcher was being evaluated on their work performance, according to Pct. Constable Alan Rosen. He said during the evaluation, the dispatcher made an outcry about the child abuse allegations involving Precinct 1 Deputy Constable Robert Johnson.

Rosen said the allegations were reported to Internal Affairs and the investigation began. He said on Monday morning the department contacted the Houston Police Department to investigate the case, where investigators found out the incidents took place in Alvin. Rosen said HPD and CPS contacted the Alvin Police Department about the allegations. He said Alvin police tried to make contact with Johnson.

On Wednesday morning, Rosen said that the same dispatcher who made the outcry said she was with Johnson and that he was threatening to kill her and take his life."

When police attempted to find Johnson for questioning, they engaged in a traffic stop. The stop turned into a dangerous chase with Johnson reportedly travelling at high speeds into oncoming traffic.

Eventually Johnson came to a stop on the FM 787 bridge over the Trinity River where a standoff ensued. During the standoff he reportedly called his supervisor and confessed to the allegations of sex abuse of multiple children. He also named other employees within the Harris county sheriff’s office who were involved.

“Chief Harrison spoke to Johnson for hours because it was important to us to try to prevent a suicide and most importantly to get any and all facts relative to this case that we could get from him,” Harris County Constable Alan Rosen said. “We wanted to know everything. We wanted to know who the victims are and how long this has been going on.”

Two of the people mentioned by Johnson during his confession have since been arrested. Dispatcher Christina McKay and deputy Chonda Shalett Williams were fired from the police department before being arrested for their involvement in the child sex ring as alleged by Johnson.

“There was a lot of people who spoke highly of him as a police officer. It’s pretty apparent that everyone around this guy had no idea he was a pedophile. No idea. Not his wife. Not his friends. Not his coworkers. Nobody,” Rosen said.

But as the two arrests show, his coworkers did know and actually participated in it.

According to KPRC, McKay is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and Williams is charged with sexual assault of a child. Both are being held at the Brazoria County Jail and have bonds set at $200,000.

According to court documents, Johnson and Williams drugged a child together before raping them. The allegations were made by the child who came forward to report the incident which happened in December 2020.

Williams reportedly admitted to the incident and admitted to seeing Johnson rape an unconscious child in a hotel room. According to the same court documents, McKay admitted to providing Johnson with pills so he could use them to render his child victims unconscious. McKay knew about the abuse, according to the records, as far back as August 2020 but never reported it out of fear of Johnson’s retaliation.

Highlighting the scope and frequency of the abuse, McKay admitted to booking hotel rooms and supplying drugs at least 20 times in the last 12 months.

BluebonnetNews.com spoke to a former girlfriend of Johnson, on the condition of anonymity, who said there may be many more victims coming forward.

She told Bluebonnet News that he was an abusive narcissist who preyed on vulnerable women, particularly those with children. With Johnson now dead and no longer a threat, other young victims may come forward, she said.

Others apparently had no idea this man was a pedophile in a uniform and despite being fired in 2012 for an inappropriate relationship, Johnson went on to Harris county where he was hired with open arms and received multiple awards, including officer of the year.

Off-Duty Cop Shoots Innocent Woman on the Way to Hospital and He Was NOT Arrested

Copperas Cove, TX — Over the weekend, Lecresha Murray says she began feeling sick so she decided to drive herself to the hospital. Her trip would be dangerously interrupted, however, when a seemingly trigger happy cop decided to dump multiple rounds into her body for no reason. Despite the officer shooting the unarmed woman six times on Sunday, he has yet to be arrested.

“I’m a victim that got shot by an off-duty police officer that did not identify himself,” Murray said. “For no reason, I didn’t approach him, I didn’t threaten him. I don’t do anything. He just opened fire for no reason.”

According to Murray, she and the off-duty Copperas Cove police officer got into an argument on Sunday as she drove herself to the hospital. She reportedly made a U-turn in front of the cop who decided to launch a pursuit and stalk the woman while off-duty.

Murray says she made the U-turn because she decided she needed to go to the hospital right then.

“I did a U-turn in the middle of the street because I was going to go to the hospital,” she said, according KWTX. “I started feeling sick.”

After she made the U-turn, Murray says the officer then started to follow her in his personal vehicle. She had no idea he was a cop and his driving was less than professional.

According to Murray, the officer in his silver truck began tailgating her before pulling in front of her and slamming on his brakes and driving slowly. Because the officer was driving slowly, Murray says she drove around him and he began tailgating her once more.

Upset with what was happening, Murray says she stopped at the next stop sign and got out to confront her stalker.

“I got out, jumped out [holding my hip area] like what’s your problem bro,” she said. “As soon as I did that he pulled a gun.”

When she saw the gun, Murray says she took off running back to her car, but it was too late. This cop decided he was going to unload on an unarmed woman who was on her way to the hospital.

"I ran back to my truck to get in and drive out,” she said. “He just started shooting, all I could do was lean over and he hit me six times.”

As the bullet holes in the video below illustrate, it appears the officer continued shooting Murray as she frantically attempted to flee.

When residents heard the gunfire they came out of their homes and began filming, according to reports. However, we have yet to locate one of the videos. When residents saw the man firing at Murray, they began yelling at him to stop.

“We were not going to have that in this neighborhood because this neighborhood is quiet and cohesive and we were not going to have this mess,” one resident who didn’t want to be identified said to KWTX.

The resident explained that children were told to go inside as adults confronted the shooter, a Copperas Cove cop.

“If the guy with gun tried to run, he wasn’t going [anywhere] because the whole neighborhood would have tackled him because we were all out here,” the resident said.

Murray explained that she had no idea the man was a cop as he never identified himself until after the residents confronted him for shooting her.

“At the time, when he’s looking back and seeing these guys recording, he turned around, then he took out his badge,” she said.

Luckily, the bullets that hit Murray were not life threatening and she was brought to a local hospital where she was treated and then released. As for the officer who opened fire on her, there is no news of an arrest.

Multiple media outlets, including this one attempted to contact the Copperas Cove police department for a comment but we have not heard anything back.

Body Cam: Cops Strip Child Nude in Public, Grope His Genitals to Look for Drugs

Baton Rouge, LA — The taxpayers of Baton Rouge were quietly put on notice this week that they will be footing the bill for the acts of several Baton Rouge police officers. After conducting an illegal traffic stop, the officers stripped a man and his teen brother completely nude, while groping their genitals on the side of the road before driving to their home and illegal searching it.

Body camera footage of the officers’ crimes was released as part of a settlement paid out to Clarence Green and his family after their rights were trampled by Baton Rouge’s finest. The measly $35,000 settlement, however, will most assuredly not undo the trauma of being publicly humiliated, sexually assaulted, and imprisoned. Instead, it serves as a testament to the untouchable nature of criminal cops and the violations they can commit with no accountability all in the name of the drug war.

Clarence Green’s nightmare started on January 1, 2020, when officers led by Sgt. Ken Camallo targeted him for harassment. Camallo claimed Green was parked in front of a “known drug house,” so when Green and his family got in their car to leave, Camallo pulled them over for “suspicious driving.”

Kayleen Butler was driving the vehicle, Clarence Green was riding shotgun, and in the backseat were Green’s 16-year-old brother, another unnamed passenger, and a young child. When Camallo illegally stopped the vehicle, he immediately ordered everyone out of the car.

Camallo then claimed to have “smelled marijuana” so Green and his teen brother were both handcuffed. As the infuriating body camera footage shows, the officers then completely expose Green and the teen’s genitals in broad daylight on a public roadway before groping their private parts. It was an unlawful strip search and borderline sexual assault and when questioned about their actions by Green, an officer responded, “we can do this.”

                                            But they could not.

During this unlawful stop and search, police found a gun in Green’s possession, which is entirely legal in the state of Louisiana, except that Green was on probation for possession of drugs, which prohibited him from having a firearm. Police also claimed to find marijuana on Green’s teen brother. It was in his pocket, however, not behind his genitals where they were looking.

After strip searching the two young men on the roadside, the officers took their unlawful detainment to the next level by going to Green’s home. “Sgt. transported GREEN and his co-defendant juvenile brother to their residence (REDACTED) in an attempt to release the juvenile to his mother,” according to the initial incident report, as published by Reason Magazine.

Before releasing the child to his mother, however, cops entered the Green residence with guns drawn and conducted yet another search, again without a warrant. They went room to room, with guns out. Luckily, a hiding child was shot and killed.

After they searched the residence, police attempted to collect a DNA sample from the child without his mother’s consent. While attempting to collect the sample, Green shouts from the back of the police cruiser for his brother to “call a lawyer.”

This enraged one of the officers who then threatened to “f**k up” Green for asserting his rights.

“If you don’t shut the f**k up,” responded Officer Troy Lawrence Jr., “I’m gonna come in and I’m gonna f**k you up…You think I’m playing with you?” he said to reiterate his threat of violence, “I will f**k you up.”

Green would later be arrested and spend the next several months in jail for unlawful possession of a firearm. However, the state would eventually drop the charges with a federal judge who presided over Green’s case, allowing the request.

After dropping the charges, the judge tore into the officers involved, calling their actions an “abject violation” of Green and his brother’s rights.

“The state agents in this case demonstrated a serious and wanton disregard for Defendant’s constitutional rights, first by initiating a traffic stop on the thinnest of pretext, and then by haphazardly invading Defendant’s home (weapons drawn) to conduct an unjustified, warrantless search,” wrote Judge Brian A. Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. “Such an intrusion, in abject violation of the protections afforded by the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution, which protects citizens against unwarranted governmental intrusions in their homes, may justifiably be considered to be a trespass subject to prosecution under” Louisiana law.

Citing the officer’s conflicting accounts about the circumstances leading up to the traffic stop, Jackson found Camallo’s testimony “troubling at best.” He also pointed out that Camallo’s incident report had been revised multiple times with facts changing on every instance.

Thomas Frampton, who represented the family in their legal action against the city, pointed out that Camallo has a history of such rights violations and lies, yet he’s never been fired or even disciplined.

Not until there was body camera evidence of him stripping a child naked on the roadside and groping his genitals did Camallo get a slap on the wrist in the form of internal discipline. He is still a cop and still on the streets. None of the other officers involved in the stop, including officer Lawrence, who threatened to “f**k up” Green, have faced any discipline at all.

Sadly, this is par for the course in American policing.

“The video is horrifying,” Frampton said. “It shows a form of ritualized humiliation and contempt for civil rights that, based on the lack of response from BRPD and District Attorney Hillar Moore, apparently has official sanction. These aren’t bad apples; these are some of the best officers on the force. It’s a miracle someone didn’t get killed . . . this time.”

Bucks County Cop Charged With Child Porn Possession

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A Montgomery County resident and Bucks County police officer faces criminal charges after authorities found a child porn cache in his home, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced Wednesday.

Matthew Reiss, 47, of Upper Hanover Township, serves as an officer with the Hilltown Township Police Department in Bucks County, authorities said.

A criminal investigation began on April 16 when local detectives received an online tip regarding images of child sexual abuse linked to a Google email account in the county. Police were able to trace the IP address and phone number associated with the account back to Reiss, the DA's office said.

Police obtained a warrant to search Reiss' home and uncovered 660 images, 10 of which depicted children under the age of 13 being sexually assaulted or in sexual poses, authorities said.

Investigators said they "found no connection" between the child pornography and Reiss' job as a police officer.

He has been placed on administrative leave.

He was charged with 10 counts of possessing child pornography. He posted $75,000 bail and was released.

A preliminary hearing is set for June 7.Following the news of Reiss' arrest, Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub released the following statement:

"The Bucks County District Attorney's Office has cooperated and worked with Montgomery County authorities since being made aware of the investigation into Matthew Reiss. This office protects all victims, even when the accused perpetrator is an officer of the law. We will evaluate all Bucks County criminal cases in which Reiss played role."

Hilltown Township Police Chief Chris Engelhart released this statement:

"On May 25, 2021, the Hilltown Township Police Department was advised that Officer Matthew Reiss, an 18-year veteran of the Police Department, was arrested by the Montgomery County Bureau of Detectives on charges of Child Pornography. We were angered and shocked at the allegations and are fully cooperating with the investigation. These acts, if true, would be a betrayal of his oath as a Police Officer, the public trust and the trust of his fellow Officers. Officer Reiss has been placed on unpaid Administrative Suspension pending an internal investigation."

Patch reporter Justin Heinze contributed reporting.

During Sex Assault Investigation, Police Chief Caught Running Child Porn Ring on Facebook

East Helena, MT — The city of East Helena is currently looking to fill the position of police chief within their department as their current chief is no longer employed. He quit in March amid a sex assault scandal and has just been arrested for distributing child sexual exploitation material on social media.

On March 2, Police Chief William Harrington submitted his resignation letter to the city of East Helena after he was accused of sexual assault. According to public records, on February 1st, someone filed a complaint with the Lewis & Clark County Sheriff’s Office, claiming that Harrington had sexually assaulted them. A criminal investigation by the Montana Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation was launched in March and is currently still underway.

Fast forward to this month and the chief’s case is looking grim as he now faces new charges of receiving and distributing child pornography on Facebook.

According to the criminal complaint, Harrington was under investigation for child porn before the sex assault investigation. The complaint states that in September 2020, a law enforcement officer began investigating a Cybertip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s CyberTipline, a national centralized reporting system for the online exploitation of children.

                                                As the Independent Record reports:

"The court documents alleged that the investigation led to a Facebook account that used the fictitious name Stella Carlson and was created and controlled by Harrington, who was the East Helena chief of police at the time. The documents further allege that Harrington distributed child pornography to the Facebook account of another person multiple times via Facebook Messenger.

Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton said the other Facebook user is the subject of an ongoing investigation and other persons of interest are involved.

Harrington allegedly used an email address associated with a mobile disc jockey business he ran and his date of birth when creating the fake social media account.

The criminal complaint asserts that the investigation into Harrington’s crimes was ongoing while he was still police chief.

In one instance, Harrington is accused of sending 28 pornographic images and videos to the other Facebook user, at least four of which are believed to depict females in their early teens, on May 22, 2020, the criminal complaint states. Other such exchanges occurred in August and November of 2020."

According to police, after executing a search warrant at Harrington’s residence, they found multiple devices, including his personal cellphone which contained child porn. After his arrest, Harrington admitted to distributing and sharing the images in his child pornography social media ring. He also admitted to running the fake “Stella Carlson” account on Facebook in order to commit these heinous crimes.

The entire time he was exploiting society’s most vulnerable, he was the chief of police.

If Harrington is convicted of the crimes he’s admitted to, he faces a mandatory minimum penalty of five years to 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and five years to life of supervised release.

“The City of East Helena was not informed prior of the disturbing allegations that came to light today against the former chief of police,” East Helena Mayor James Schell said in a statement. “The prior employment investigation conducted by the City of the sexual assault allegation was, to the City’s knowledge, a completely separate matter and not associated with these new allegations.”

WATCH: ‘Pedo Hunter’ Catches Police Officer in the Act of Luring a Child for Sex

Avon, IN — Across the country brave individuals provide a much needed service to society by launching undercover stings to ensnare child predators. These vigilante groups pose as children online and allow the predators to do all the talking as not to entrap them before scheduling a meeting and exposing the pedophiles.

The template for these encounters usually involves the alleged pedophile showing up to meet who they think is a child, and meeting the pedophile hunter instead. This is the same method employed by the highly popular show To Catch a Predator.

In Avon, Indiana one of these groups takes the vigilante approach a step further and has actual undercover models posing as children. PCI: Predator Catchers Indianapolis has dozens of videos on their Facebook page in which they ensnare would be child rapists. On May 14, one of these child predators was caught in the act who happens to be a police officer in a neighboring town.

That officer was Portland Police Officer Joshua Clark who was caught on camera meeting a person who he thought was a 14-year-old girl in order to have sex. The encounter was captured on video and streamed live on Facebook.

As the video shows, once he realizes he’s busted, Clark claims he thought the child he was meeting was supposed to be 18-years-old. But Predator Catchers Incorporated had a burner phone with all the officer’s texts on it clearly indicating he knew he was meeting a child.

The incident unfolded on May 13 and after he was exposed, Clark reportedly went into hiding. On May 20, police acknowledged they had been notified about the video and released a statement saying Clark had resigned from the police department.

Police Chief Josh Stevenson noted in the statement that the Avon police department was investigating the incident but they were not “actively seeking” Clark. According to WTHR, Avon officials said they were notified on May 13 that a law enforcement officer from the Portland Police Department had reportedly “attempted to meet up with an underage child to potentially engage in sexual conduct” in Avon.

The group turned over all their evidence to the Avon department and on Thursday May 27, he was arrested — two weeks after trying to meet a child for sex. Clark was arrested Thursday without incident for Child Solicitation and Attempted Child Seduction by a law enforcement officer.

“In the days following the disturbing video that was shared online, our Detectives and Administrators worked closely with the Portland Police Department to resolve this case and to subsequently locate and apprehend Mr. Clark. We appreciate the patience and faith that our community has in our department to handle such matters with the utmost of integrity. We assure you that our agency is committed to accountability for all,” a post on the Avon Police Department’s Facebook page said.

“Although these incidents can be troubling for the public to process and questions the integrity of the department, it is important to note that these incidents are rare nationwide and this one incident should not distract the public’s overall opinion of the Portland Police Department,” Portland Mayor Josh Boggs said when the resignation was announced in a statement posted on the department’s Facebook page.

After news was released that one of their own officers was arrested, Portland police were quick to distance themselves from the officer and also pointed out that he was never assigned to schools.

“The safety of our kids in our community will always be paramount to our officers and we will effectively investigate and prosecute those in our community and assist outside agencies with their investigation against those who take any wrongful action against anyone in the community; in particular the vulnerable,” the department said online.

These vigilante child predator hunters provide a much needed service to society. While police focus on arresting people for arbitrary substances deemed illegal by the state, folks like PCI and others are out there putting fear in the minds of predators. What’s more, as this case illustrates, cops are caught in these stings all the time.

Earlier this year, we reported on a cop out of Charlotte County, Florida, Charlotte County Deputy Marty Allen, 41, was arrested after pedophile hunters caught him in the act of soliciting a child for sexual relations.

Just two months before that, a vigilante group known as Waits List caught a cop at an elementary school, identified in the video as “Alan Reese.”

Before that, we reported on Stow Police Chief Ralph Marino who was caught on video attempting to meet a boy he thought was 14.
