I forgot too, VH1. Every time I'm flipping channels and I put it on VH1, it's some show with really dysfunctional black women acting crazy and yelling at one another. I think the common thread is they all have rapper husbands/boyfriends/babydaddies. Then you look at the rappers hoping you recognize one, and it's a bunch of nobodies who aren't even relevant. And they're all total pussies who let these women drive them crazy.

These shows apparently have high enough ratings to where they're always on. Shit like this is why I'm an elitist, and I don't apologize for it.

vh1 is awful. i had the tv on vh1 with the snl retrospective shows on, and then mob wives came on, and i couldn't flip it fast enough. it literally started with a physical fight amongst the women that i guess was left over from the previous show as a cliffhanger.

We recently decided to do away with cable, not even the three basic channels. Been pleasantly surprised. Now it's just Netflix and porn. Quality over quantity

But Ive noticed that now, I rarely even watch Netflix. I hit the wrong button on the RC the other day and had to ask my wife how to get back to Netflix, I had no clue what I was doing. I realized it was the first time in weeks I had actually turned on the TV. I usually watch whatever she has on but rarely sit down and watch by myself. But when I do, it's a good documentary.

5. Sports docs in general. Espn 30/30's usually real good

Watched a great movie last night called Kill the messenger about a journalist who exposed the cia involvement in drug smuggling in 90's. Of course our main stream media thought Clinton getting sucked off a bigger story so it kinda got swept under the rug. Just an example of why I don't like or trust our media just wanna spin things or tell us what we wanna hear.

To balance the effect of the gruesome real content of that stuff I'm a huge fan of stand-up watch a lot of comedians and sports

It starts and stops with The Big Bang Theory worse show ever I tried to watch a couple of episodes to see if it was remotely funny but the lame jokes and laugh track after every sentence I could not take it yet this is the biggest comedy on television nobody can convince me this show is good.

Yeah, I've got to hand it to the producers though. It shows that if you turn the laugh track up high enough and leave it there, any show can seem funny, even when it's awful and doesn't even have a real target audience.
