How Many Times Have You Been in Jail?

At least half of us on this site are degen's, just wondering how many have been in the pokey?

Personally, I am 53 yrs. old and can remember at least 5 times, there could be more.

2 -- Public Intoxication
2 -- Fights at Bars
1 -- Busted Senior year of College running a Sports Book -- Organized Criminal Activity.
I let the judge decide instead instead of a jury. Sentenced me to 10yrs. in prison. They put me in lockup behind the court and my Attorney and Judge went to lunch together. I paid $25K restitution and got Deferred Adjudication/Probation. Go figure, huh!

Money always talks. My so called "Bud" was from a rich family and he never got pulled in. RAT, Bastard!


I guess that is why some guys get married. My wife has saved me from myself countless times, plus she is as cool as shi$t and pretty!

Granted this was 25 -- 30 yrs ago. I dealt grade "A" sensimilla and booked bets. My best customer was "Thomas Hayen Church"- the actor. Back then he was a DJ for the school and his name was Tom Quisada, surfer kind of guy. I used to break up fights between him and the "Sons of Anarchy" type dude.

like you said earlier, money talks...the most I had to do in States was a 5 day sentence...everything else was between 1 and 24 hour hold up type of a deal, with some weekends work program, massive fine and massive probation

I don't care what anybody says, but 5 days is a really long time in jail! I cannot even imagine, dudes doing yrs. for pot!

I'll tell you though 5 days in American jail is a paradise compared to an hour in Russian.

I did watch on Netflix, "The Way Back". They escaped from the Russian Gulag and walked 4500 miles -- Siberia, Desert, Himalayas, Tibet, and then into India.

Twice in the drunk tank in college......Once was complete bullshit, cops followed me and a few friends out of a convenience store at like 4 am in five points.. Columbia, sc after the bars closed...We were fukked up obviously but just getting a taxi when they locked us up for public intox and a few underage drinking.....no reason at all, just easy targets, weren't starting trouble....I had a fake id on me (was 19) but they didn't get me for that thank god

Second one I deserved it I guess......Some of my friends were in a brawl also in five points with some scumbag kids....the scumbags fled after bouncers broke it up and cops showed up late after everything was broken up.....then they locked up a few of my friends for no good reason even after the bouncers and witnesses all said the other group that fled started it .....I was hammered and pissed off and started talking shit to the cops, being the funny guy and making everyone else laugh saying how great they were doing, etc......they locked me up too for disorderly conduct

Both times in jail fukkin sucked but I was able to get out the next morning, hungover as shit......Some dude in the same holding cell as me woke up not knowing where the fukk he was.....in his shirt pocket he found a crumpled up ticket with DUI accident and also a little Baggie of coke

Both charges were expunged after a few BS alcohol classes, community service, and fines......Learned my lesson

was just young and stupid and hung out with the wrong crowd. It took me until about 19 to straighten up. I come from a good family that had my back so all was fine. Married , two children, business owner and home owner in Santa Barbara and Tel Aviv

One of the fights I got into, was in San Antonio. For some reason, they put us in the same cell. I did not understand what he was telling me, but basically, "I am going to cut your throat."

My Buddies brought knives and guns for no reason, it all turned out OK.

Russian jail is how jails should be.
Our country needs to smarten up and adapt to their style.
You will have to invest a little more up front in manpower, but once ppl are in jail and get out, they aren't going back as often. Eventually the cost will go down and the word is out.

Twice. Once for drunk in public and resisting with force. Was partying at a buddies house and did a little too much drugs and alcohol and got a little delusional. Had the police called on me and I ran and then wrestled with them and elbowed one in the eye. They were gonna mace me but my girl was there and she talked me into letting them put me in the car. When I got in car I was very angry and decided I would give them something to clean up so I puked all over the back of the car. When we got to.the jail the deputies were waiting and took me to the shower. One of the deputies was a soft looking big guy, so I singled him kut saying I would beat his ass if we were out in public. Told them all I made more money then all of them put together and I was only 22...called them "nine dollar an hour pieces of shit"....well when i wasnt looking the big soft one elbow checked me and my head hit the shower wall and split open. They took me to the infirmary where i refused to.sign for medical care (paranoia) so the nurse couldnt staple me up and had to wrap my head in a big bandage and throw me in a padded cell...i woke up in the morning as my normal reasonable self and was put in a holding cell with a bunch of other dudes who were like "yo what the hell you do.man? You kill somebody? I been in here many times and i aint never seen somebody be escorted by ten deputies at a time." I was denied bond and had to get a bond hearing and a lawyer to get bonded out. The judge wasnt going to give it to me because apparently i had told the magistrate to go penetrate himself (i do not recall going before a magistrate). But my mom cried and pleaded with the judge so she let me out. In the end I paid a fine, got a year in jail, all suspended, with a bunch of community service. I went to a local park where I knew a chick who worked there and she signed me in and out every day for a few months for $50. I learned my lesson then and have never done anything but weed and alcohol and the occasional tablet since.

The other time was a dui. Another funny story but I am done typing this shit out. Lol

True story boys. I was 18, I'm 25 now....... Broke a party store window with my buddy since we were broke and needed smokes.
We decided not to go through with it after the window was broke, as there were things that would have taken to long to get in due to a double lobby door, so we fled. We also saw flashlights coming from the other side of the building, so we knew the cops had arrived.
Due to my cunning ability I escaped in the subdivision behind the store, ran for a minute then simply waked across the street, walked behind the buildings there for a block, then watched as the cops couldnt find me, then walked 5 mins home to our apartment. I thought my friend would show up shortly. Unfortunately, after 10 mins he still wasn't back, so I called him. I thought he had at least gotten out of the immediate area. Sadly he only mangaged to hide in the bushes right next to the building! Idiot! So of course the cops heard the ringing, dragged him out of the bushes, and threatened him with extra time if he didn't lead them to me. Of course 10 mins later, my complex is surrounded by shotguns, I swear a full team was there. 5 stormed into the apartment, and drug me out, while he looked on helplessly from another squad car. We were taken to the city jail, and booked. Sadly this was Friday night, so anyone who knows how that works, knows that you stay there until Monday. Separate cells, all night, all of Saturday all of Sunday, We we're let out once for 5 mins to talk to detectives. Total misery, laying on a cot for 2 days straight. Luckily under a juvenile act in our state,we were released and were given a court date. We got hit with a felony, for attempted breaking and entering,even though all we did was break a window! We got probation, and got it expunged though. That's about it. Never got int trouble again
