If you’ve never had fresh green beans, I suggest you try them. Always had the fu##ed out canned $#!T like for Thanksgiving casseroles my whole life until I hit about 30 and had this dish in a Thai restaurant. Changed my life. Trim the ends, cut the bigger ones in half, boil for 4-5 minutes, then shock in ice water - ready for stir-fry…..

The good news for us pot smoking citizens of the Nutmeg State just keeps better.
Two weeks ago the state legislature ramrodded through the new legal marijuana laws here.
I'm not very good at keeping long stories short but I'll try.
The changes in the law go in to effect on 7/1 (2 weeks from now)
My take away from the updates yesterday from the State Capitol is in general pretty much what you can and can't do drinking and selling alcohol will now apply to pot. You can't drive and drink a beer at the same time, same now applies with pot.
You can smoke weed on your front lawn for instance in public as long as it's your private property.
I'm not sure if my neighbor Granny Sheila will like that though, who know, maybe Sheila is a closet toker that nobody knows about.

You can carry pot on your person up to an ounce and a half, which is cool, if you ask me if you are carrying with you down the street with say a QP of puff than you deserve to go top prison.

You can't sell it if you're busted selling than it's going down as a street crime and you'll get prosecuted.
