Sipowicz was one of my all time favorite TV detectives, he was bad ass.

if you want a good detective/PI/ crime noir show check out Perry Mason on HBO. It’s excellent - appointment TV for me.

I catch the original Perry Mason's from time to time with Raymond Burr.
That was a very smart show.

I'm the biggest Dick Wolf fan in the world.
He's a genius, he's been getting it done for over 3 decades and not once, as in ever put out a bad TV series.
Think about it.
I loved the original Law and Order, that went 20 years I mean there were only 456 episodes of that show, SVU is pushing a quarter a century now, Criminal Intent with probably the best actor working today D'Onofrio was on 10 years.

The best and my favorite is Chicago PD.
Jason Beghe is my new favorite bad ass.

Dick Wolf's entire #oneChicago series are great (Chicago Med, Chicago PD, and Chicago FD)

Don't forget Wolf was the brains behind Hill Street Blues and Miami Vice too.
And like I said he's still getting it done.

I love the kid, he showed a lot of heart last season.
He's one of those fiery Latin hot tempered players.
He plays good defense too. I can see him winning a gold glove soon.

What's ironic here is Houston drafted him then traded him to Oakland a couple of years ago and he did have a few good minor league seasons.

Houston's depth chart is loaded with outfielders and they did get a reliever for him so I guess he was expendable.
