I went for a 20 mile run today, so I got to hear the Marshall Mathers LP 2 back2back.
The first 13 minutes ... Bad Guy, Parking Lot (skit), Rhyme or Reason, and So Much Better, all show that EM is still the muthaffuckin king. I understand why EM called it the MM LP 2, (I can see the similarities), but he could have also named it The Resurrection of Slim Shady.
EM slaughters everyone in the rap game in the track Rap God. I don't think there is a single person alive that can even come close to his level. I thought EM lost it, but it turns out he still is the best freestyle rapper, battle rapper, and overall rapper alive.
If EM never makes another album for us. At least he made one last classic album for diehard Slim Shady fans. I can't remember an album where 90 percent of the tracks are str8 fire that's been made in the last 10 years.
Bad Guy, Parking Lot (skit), Rhyme or Reason (ffuck yeah, man, I agree, this track is fire), So Much Better, Legacy, Asshole, Rap God, Brainless, Stronger Than I Was, So Far , Love Game, Headlights and Evil Twin are going to be labeled rap classics.
I know some Slim Shady fans have issues with Survival, Berzerk and Monster, but these are radio friendly Slim Shady tracks. EM made Survival for a war video game. Berzerk is a trip to the old school break dancing days of hip-hop, and Monster is more for his pop fan base.
Shit... for being radio tracks. They are still the hottest, sickest radio tracks out right now. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 9. People that are talking shit about this album. Don't know shit about rap music.
For those haters, I would ask to show me 13 minutes of an album made in the last 10 years that's better than the first 13 minutes of the MM LP2. After that, I would ask, show me an album made in the last 10 years that has 16 tracks worth listening to.
I going to be jamming to this album for days. It brings back a shit load of memories. I remember when my homie told his parents that he was gonna chill at my house for the night.
We are all kickin it at my pad, just chillin. Then, my homie says he forgot some shit at his crib and he needs to pick it up. We go to his pad. It's late as ffuck. I don't remember what time it was, but it was damn late. My homie has a key, so we sneak in real quiet.
As soon as he opens the door. The odor of ass, condoms and sperm hit me str8 in the face. FFuck I wanted to puke at that moment. The homies parents were going at it buck wild. I was laughing and wanting to puke all at the same damn time n shit. Shit was funny as ffuck.
This happened around the time I was bumpin the Marshal Mathers LP.
