FBI had interviewed the older brother two years ago for suspected terrorist affiliation. Shouldn't the FBI of had everything they need to know about the guy already on file and been able to put 2+2 together on their own once when they visually identified their suspects on surveillance cam? Especially with the bombings happening in the same vicinity of his residence. Needing to release their photo's publicly to ID them and spooking them, leading to this mess today should of all been completely unnecessary. Also funny how a million cops and FBI agents couldn't find him, yet a citizen in lockdown all day long locates him 5 minutes after the public is allowed to go outside. Incompetence all the way around from the investigation to the manhunt.

you also have to wonder if the area wasn't on lockdown, could this guy have maybe found a way to get out of the area?

the lockdown basically made it necessary for him to hide out in about the last place a fugitive would want to be

Crazy how the boat owner found the guy in about 5 minutes of lifting the lock down. Now we are hearing how sharp and great the police were in all this. They would still be looking for him, if that guy didn't notice his boat cover flapping in the wind.

Allegedly the police had searched the boat before this. The trail of blood tipped the guy off who reported it.

In the after capture press conference they stated they didn't search the boat. A interview with the stepson of boat owner he said he was tipped off by the boat cover lifting up from the wind. He found it strange, and went to see why.

Who knows. It's just strange in all that time, they didn't find him. Then right after the lock down was lifted, he was found by the boat owner.
