do you care about the budget
or do you pretend to care about the budget? are you happy Trump detailed the air attack, on that bastard radical, to his donors.

the man is corrupt to the core and you budget pretenders, hmm. I know one of you who wrote he was a fiscal conservative for the 8 years of Obama. Now that individual hasn't mentioned his fiscal conservatism even once. how does it feel to be a hypocrite?

you Trumpers have nothing, nothing at all. BS and lies.

The president said nothing about an “imminent attack” on U.S. interests or threats to four U.S. embassies as he previously has to justify the unilateral military strike that escalated tensions in the region and opened debate on presidential war powers.

    hmmmm.

We got work to do in the USA bud.

Time for these people to do the people’s work...

Enough of the mudslinging. It’s been 3 years + now.

a separate audio clip, Trump is heard boasting about increasing the defense budget by $2.5 trillion a massive sum he may have gotten to by adding several years’ budgets; the Pentagon budget for fiscal 2020 is $738 billion. To those who criticized his spending and the growing national debt, Trump said, “Who the hell cares about the budget? We’re going to have a country.”

For most of Barack Obama’s time in office, Republicans seemed to care very much about the budget, making fears around the national debt and deficit their top talking point. They’ve backed off those concerns under Trump.

yeah, what has Trump accomplished with the infrastructure.

and it isn't mud slinging when it is the truth. he is a criminal.

and how did the R move on with Obama, just because he was black. no other viable reason, they (the R) promised they would oppose every idea he had, even their own ideas.

I agree the R said we need to get the deficit down, and Obama screwed it. That is a fact that was the talking points prior to the election. You are right.

I’m just saying everybody casting stones and the people’s work not getting done.

Trump has done good things however.

well, maybe he has. but for every possible one "good" thing he has done two bad things. his foreign policy is a disaster, a total disaster. Not one case I can think of is a positive.

R talking about moving on and getting things done is a little ridiculous when you look at 8 years of Obama and 8 years of obstruction. do you think I like to see infighting between the parties. I hate it. I would love to see a slightly right R party and a slightly left D party. The past 20 some years the R have become the party of hate. period.

the crazies, the skinheads, the neo nazis and every far right group in the country supports the R. Is that just a coincidence, or am I full of crap. Two answers, it is not a coincidence and I have the facts right on the button.

I don't care about the budget. I used to care but now I pretend not to care.

It seems to be that the taxpayers, collectively, are the closest thing to an inexhaustible source of revenue that there is and that we should be celebrating that inexhaustibility as a momentous achievement of (hu)mankind.

                      It's not my money anyway.

i'm definitely for not giving farmers twice as much twice as much as we gave the auto industry. I'm for tightening up welfare. Before clinton we would pay a welfare recipient 600 for 5 kids. Now they have those kids qualified as slow learners so they get 798 per children. 798 x5 =3990 instead of 600. The slum lords made out because they charge more money for rent. Food stamps went down but welfare went up. Tired of corporate welfare. It is why i first started liking kasich. He made sure the budget was balanced. Roy the poor will always be with us and the bible says to take care of the poor. But when you have congressman that bitch about taking care of the poor all the while getting money from the govt for getting money for farms is disgraceful.

Yes it does. And when all the farms go out of business because of lack of subsidies prices will soar. That's why the gov gives farm subsidies. But hey, I'm fine with dropping them.

Here's a list of companies that paid no taxes last year.

Big businesses are faring better than ever under the Trump era tax law, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA).

Of all 60 companies paying taxes for 2018, the first full year under the TCJA, Amazon (AMZN) topped the list with the largest portion of income. In 2018, Amazon paid $0 in taxes on record profit of $11 billion. 2018 was the second year in a row that the e-commerce giant was able to avoid paying taxes.

Amazon is joined on the list by other big companies raking in big profits, including Delta Airlines (DAL), Chevron (CVX), Netflix (NFLX), and General Motors (GM).

“Instead of paying $16.4 billion in taxes at the 21 percent statutory corporate tax rate,” ITEP noted, “these companies enjoyed a net corporate tax rebate of $4.3 billion.”

Under TCJA, Trump’s new tax law cuts the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%. And some big businesses that did end up paying tax in 2018 paid far less than that.
