#72312Anyone else find it odd the crazy reaction to Rick Grenell as a temp DNI?
Dude’s been in govt for years and is a gay man who went to Harvard! If he was a Dem this would be the headline “first gay DNI a win for progress under the president” but he isn’t of the same opinion so he’s just a crazed guy who should just stay away from DC. #72318Let's review Trump's trade war with China:
—300,000 fewer jobs
—$34 billion in costs to consumers
—$9 billion drop in agricultural exports
—Farm bankruptcies are at their highest peak since 2011
Here's the bottom line: Trump's economic nationalism is making Americans poorer.

So here we see the forum's #1 brainwashed and totally ignorant coward continuing to dodge all the challenges I've posted to his FAKE NEWS posts.
But he finds the time here to take a break from scratching his pickle to post yet more nonsense.
Anyone else find it odd this crazy cultist doesn't understand the reaction to the nomination of Grenell as acting DNI?
Grenell in simply not qualified for the assignment and has ZERO experience in intelligence.
In ordinary times he'd fail to qualify for a security clearance.
The DNI role involves the co-ordination of 17 intelligence agencies and preparing reports for the president and congress.
It's a 24/7/365 job but he is continuing to serve as an ambassador to Germany.
It has absolutely nothing to do with his sexual preference.
Folks, remember that this cowardly pickle has absolutely ZERO CREDIBILITY, just like his cult leaderComment -

most or many of you won't remember A Stevenson "there is nothing more horrifying than stupidity in action".
imagine this for one minute. let us all pretend and think that the great Americans of the past, the true heroes are able to hear and see and witness D Trump. Think about the thoughts concerning D Trump thought by every single founder. A Lincoln, T Roosevelt, FDR, JFK, even RR.
Teddy Roosevelt would seriously consider beating the shit out of Trump after he pissed on his face (of course Trump would like the latter). who knows what might happen H, maybe this orange asshole will be a catalyst for a D president and a D senate and we will see a new birth of true progressive government.
you know the type of progressive government that has given almost every great piece of legislation the USA has ever passed, the progressive thought that helped build the USA into one of the greatest nations on earth. when our country decides to toss the shit from the conservatives onto the trash heap of other shit we wind up with Civil Rights legislation, Equal Rights legislation, positive legislation for/concerning women, legislation directing clean air/water. all these were opposed by the crazies, every one. and then they have the balls the unmitigated balls to trash talk progressive thought. that is because they are stupid and uneducated.Comment -

#72330People ask me why do I think Trump is so incredibly unhinged at all times?
It is actually simpler than one thinks.
He has been committing various frauds and crimes for 45 years, plenty before 2017 and plenty after.
He always slunked out of things, he is a master conman.
He accidentally won in 2016 and managed to be such a master at riling up the dredges of society and bullying cowardly Republicans in Congress, most of who know he is insane, that he has been able to continue to be a corrupt criminal sociopath because that is who he is.
BUT..he knows what he has done.
He knows how many crimes he has committed & what diligent investigators can find & have found, much of which is not yet public.
He knows his financial statements are false & using them for bank loans is a felony each time, and so much more.
He knows the second he is out of office with Dems in charge, with a non partisan hack Atty General and more, he is going to be destroyed.
It freaks him out 24/7 & it causes him to act like a lunatic because he is incapable of not lashing out or showing his guilt or fear.
He is trying his damndest to attack our institutions and the free press constantly because facts & evidence are utter poison to him. He is trying to control the IC now with a moronic partisan hack in Grennell, a mistake, which will backfire badly thanks to many patriots.
Same goes for the 10’s of thousands of honorable prosecutors in the DOJ & FBI agents et al.
They are stronger than this deranged madman who is spiraling out of control mentally & otherwise.
SDNY is the strongest among other factions and this will all end very badly for him.

#72331Here’s the bottom line:
Foreign countries engage in covert political warfare when they believe there is a vulnerability which can be exploited to their country’s benefit.
So, when particular individuals are targeted, ask 1) what are they exploiting and 2) what’s the payoff?
Russia has a number of objectives that it seeks through subversion to achieve what it can’t through, say, military or economic means (like the U.S. can):
1) weaken the U.S. and its institutions;
2) erode American global influence;
3) support regimes that promote its interests
Any candidate who is being targeted by Russia — even unwittingly or unsolicited — OUGHT to have the self-reflection to ask:
What is it that I do, or stand for, or promote that helps Russia in these goals?
And if they are exploiting that, how can I neutralize it?
Disavowing it is an obvious start, and it’s good that Bernie, at least, did that.
But a major self-created vulnerability that Russia already has in its favor is internal division, political polarization, increasing cynicism in elections, law enforcement, and the judiciary.
So any candidate who capitalizes on or provokes those factors is, ultimately, fertilizing the ground in which the seeds of Russia’s efforts can flourish.
It’s their *actions*, once they learn that they are being used, which tells you how serious they are about stopping it.
I, @alexzfinley and @john_sipher laid this all out in more detail in this piece last week:

The 2020 election cycle will provide the Kremlin opportunities to pursue further subversion, disinformation, and deception.

#72335Trump flew back to his own Las Vegas hotel each night during the western-states swing that wrapped up Friday, rather than in the other cities he was actually visiting.
That likely cost taxpayers $1m extra, and diverted thousands of $ into his own pocket

The president insisted on returning to Las Vegas each night of his western states swing, rather than overnighting where he was appearing.
To house Trump on his golf resorts, American taxpayers have so far paid out 12 times the cost of all the travel Obama did in his first four years.
And much of this money has gone into Trump's pockets, because they're his resorts.
