Well Texas is a little different, & you got to admit the people are insane. Not that its a bad thing. But I'm sure most of that has to do with oil & money. But yeah Texas should be allowed break from the Union if thats what the people want. Hell its big enough to be its own country. Problem is there is not enough room for all us to live there. lol Texas would do well on its own. That might just bring down the whole house of U.S. cards.

I'm from Texas and I can tell you that Texans love the idea of independence and think they like small govt. But trust me, they like their small govt REAL big. This state gets huge amounts in farm subsidies, military subsidies and has a massive population on welfare, food stamps and social security. Take away the govt and this place would collapse.

And oh yeah, all that wind energy is subsidized. Take away the subsidies and they shut down tomorrow.

I don't hear the Dems wanting to cut the poor's benefits. I don't hear the Dems adding amendments to bills to gut what Obama has done. IE: amendment for removing immigration ex order in the Homeland security funding, shutting down the govt to remove healthcare, etc.
