#82rudy just needs to go ahead and go off and end his association with sbr altogether.....
he's become a cancer to the entire site; definitely the worst look sbr could hope for: a negative trolling lowlife who, to feel important for the first time in his life, anointed himself "posters advocate", then proceeds to attack anyone and everyone in sight, trolling non-stop, spewing negativity, and acting as anything but a "posters advocate".....
time to retire him.....Comment -

#84I swear, is there a thread that Rudy posts about poker that doesn't end in a burial a few posts in? I mean seriously, anyone with a couple of minutes and a computer could have put this mystery together. The sad part of this is I bet he was in both contests last year. But the prizes went down. Unreal

#98I cashed out all of my points because Poker died. I never cared about cashing anything out. I would give a bunch of points away to posters or for the charity threads when they would popup but I would keep a good roll to play poker.
There used to be a lot of great games when Bite, Tat, Miller, SteveK, Rudy, Triple, me and a few others would play about every night. Most of us kept at least 5k in points for Poker and we would also play our rollovers but we wouldn't hit and run once we rolled them over. Some nights we would have 6-8 guys playing 2/4, 3/6, or 5/10 with full buy-ins and nobody was rolling over. We would play for several hours and shoot the shit in the chat.
The poker died when those guys either left or quit playing for whatever reason.
There aren't enough quality poker players left to support decent cash games that:
A. Have enough points to play 2/4, 3/6, or 5/10. Ability to cash out points for bitcoin has caused some of this.
B. Are willing to risk points that aren't just rollovers
C. Are afraid to play Omaha Hi or Holdem and take any risk. They would rather play Omaha hi/lo and try to split pots.
I would like to see some tables where the minimum buy-in is 50 BB's. There is nothing worse than the rare occasion that we get a 2-4 handed game going with full buy-ins for an hour or so and all players at 200-500 bb's deep then 2-3 jackasses show up with 20 bb's and start shoving preflop between two big stacks. This usually ends the game.
Get rid of the Hi/Lo games and make the guys rollover on Omaha Hi or Holdem tables or at least require them to buy-in with 100 BB's on the hi/lo tables.

#103The poker software is outdated - need rabbit hunt and see your folded hand feature
The contests favor people who can play every single day
The hi/lo tables should run every day
They should add limit games

I remember that quite well. It was actually entertaining just to sit on the sidelines and watch you guys. I thought those days would last forever... but everything is always short lived.
I don't really know what SBR's goal is? I thought since they paid for the software.... they would keep pumping and pumping to produce more players? It seems whatever plan they had... it backfired. Created more questions and indifference... than positive results.
I also agree with what GauchoJake said... Hi/Lo's should run every day. Most people wait until the weekend to roll over their points. High percentage of Poker Players just want a chance to "SPLIT". It's just a feeling of getting something back.
SBR needs to rethink what the goal is at the Poker Tables... I always thought it was to make it popular? Posters are losing interest.Comment -

#105i haven't played poker here in a long time... but how can you continue to have big money games when the rake eats away at point balances?
8 guys each have 5000 points and play some decent cash games, eventually the 40,000 points is gonna turn into 20,000 total and now you can only have 4 guys playing... and unlike a real casino, nobody can buy more points, all you can do is get some puny points from tournaments or 12 pts/dayComment
