I live in S. florida and last night was horrible. Lost power all day yesterday and the winds and rain last night was bad. Woke up this morning and my paypaya tree was blown over and another tree had fell on my car. Going be a long day cleaning up.

I live just north of lake pontchatrain (mandeville). Gonna get fukked. The worst will be in plaquemines and terrebone by the coast and ms gulf coast like bay st Louis and biloxi. Mandatory evacuations in most of those areas. I'm under a voluntary evac but I'm staying cuz I have no where to go (family in chicago)

awesome, I've wanted to look into moving to mandeville!! You got the best of both worlds, New Orleans is a short drive away and you don't live in the bowl or with the darkies and criminals

Its very nice. Safest area in metro new Orleans. Not super far from baton rouge or ms gulf coast. have the beautiful lake right there. i highly recommend it.

awesome bars is a given, BEST fuckin' food you'll ever eat at just about any restaurant you walk into. All of the quarter is historic...pre-1850, amazing history there. Thats just the quarter, there is a lot to see all over the city. Unlike anywhere else in the country, maybe even the world
