Seems like a dumb argument since you should want the best line and the bet to win. Everyone loses, so line shopping is important for that reason.
If you feel a bet is going to win, you won't mind paying a worst price, but over the long run consistently getting shitty prices will cut into your profits or bury you if you hit a skid.Comment -

I also just want to point out there is a fine line between smart statistical betting and smart feel betting.
The last 3 times I've bought a half run on an under, that half run has won me the bet or won me the push. I did it in those situations even though mathematically i shouldn't have. But logically, getting off the 6.5 or the 7.5 to 7 or 8 just seems right sometimes. I could do it 10 more times and it not matter those 10 times, and I'd still be +EV by getting it the first 3 though.Comment -
