SO basically all I have to do (I see the asians at indian casinos do this all the time) is watch people playing machines for 48 hours straight with no sleep...then as soon as they lose all their money thats when I move in?

there are certain machines that can be profitable. fh gave you a few of them. i'm guessing he found a lot of the igt ones that gave players rewards to a top prize based on certain spin outcomes. if they left the machine, the prize levels remained in place for the next player. saw it happen many times on the gem machines. a slot vp from a competitor of mine at the time complained to me about it and felt it was a glitch in the software. it wasn't. most of the machines were .05-$5 in denoms and soembody had to win, so i could've cared less who won it. most of those games were removed from slot floors as casinos upgraded their inventory. a few do remain around the strip though.

Here is what Fishhead taught me

1. you walk the entire casino 1st
2. You hover around people playing slot machines for a long period of time

3. Then when some one gets buried you jump on that machine and start playing and supposedly it pays +105 based on theory and math calculations
4. Then you move on after you win a certain percentage and find other losing slot players machines

Wow.fishhead.Great to see you posting over here.Whenever people ask me to name some sharp guys I have read over the years in forums and around gambling I always mention you and your posts at the rx.If you ever get a forum or a service,send me a pm .I would join in a heart beat.

I would love to to see a mod over here give fishhead a column if he had time to write one.This guy is a wealth of knowledge and somebody who really is a joy to read.

We have a few guys on here who like to talk about advantage gambling and arbitrage betting but fishhead actually did it for years in the glory days when scalping was still really possible.

If you ever have time fishhead,I would love your opinion on scalping in todays market.It seems almost impossible with the way books stay on top of lines.These days it is a completely different climate with the books.

Granted, the stories are true and cool to hear.

I know the biggest group of ppl who did it back in the day.
Mostly scumbags, degens, nothing to show for it after making millions off of them as well.
Didn't even invest their own cash half the time in the machines they were scamming, they used slugs lol. True story.
Couple of them are dead from messing with the wrong ppl.

You obviously know more than a little bit about the "glory days of slots" and guessing you must know me personally.............................m ust say though, you are entirely wrong with the comment that they're are not beatable slots any longer, there are plenty, but overall certainly not nearly as lucrative as pre-1998.........................things are well on many ends here in the gaming world, no complaints currently.
