I guess there are multiple ways to look at it.
How about a book like 5dimes who don't have contests like Heritage, and I've NEVER heard of them giving a X-Mas bonus to ANYONE...

I understand not everyone will be happy, but they certainly do more than some of the other top tier books as well. I wonder if we will see a thread about how 5Dimes doesn't give out anything??? tough spot for the book and players on this one, nobody will be completely happy

True, but if you bet boxing, ufc, soccer, tennis, etc. then it's Christmas everyday of the year at 5Dimes compared to the heavy juiced lines you get at Heritage and most other books for these sports.

5Dimes approach has always been that they offer the best betting options & moneylines so that's your bonus.

I didn't get anything. Though I doubt I have made anywhere near 200 bets there since BetJam transferred me over which is probably why.

I didnt get anything which I was pretty pissed about so I went through normal avenues of chat and got some stupid canned response and wouldnt explain why i didnt get anything. I have def had 200 min bets this year. I called my "vip account rep" which i got an email about earlier this week. He hooked me up with a decent free play. If you feel you should have gotten one, you might want to try that route.

If you weren't going to give them out to everyone, then you don't put in a newsletter distributed to all players implying that everyone is getting a bonus.

To be honest if it was my book, I wouldnt give them to everyone either. I would only reward those customers who I valued their business. But IMO it could've been handled in a more classier way. I can only imagine the headache the CS dept must have to put up with today.

Had $20,000+ rolled over from Bet Jamaica to them this summer. Always follow your gut and I should have moved it. Anyway, I received nothing and want nothing. My earlier post stands....it's a book that not only wants you to lose, but tells you you will lose, whether it be there statement in their rules (paraphrased) saying "expect to lose in our casino" or their crappy lines. I stayed too long and that's my own fault. To me this is just a more efficient and cleaner looking BoDog.

With that in mind, during the last two weeks of November I probably made from 50-140 bets.
If they are counting "Number of bets" and I didn't get the free play because I'm (what) 2, 3, or 4 bets shy of 200......

Then, yes, they need to review the system of WHO gets a Christmas gift!

when i called and was told about the 200 bets being the reason for no xmas cheer i was told they would check my account, email me with the number of bets i made, and they gave me $50 freeplay anyways. talked to a vip host. i think i will be real close to 200. but either way over or under 200 it is free and they get to choose who gets it. thanks for the 50 freeplay either way heritage.

And five figures there doesn't make me valued enough. Not betting there much these days, because other books offer far more value. Hard to believe how much they changed recently, contrary to their promise that nothing would change. The air is officially out of the party balloon. This is the only book I've ever played at that changed my juice to their advantage, from -107 to -108. At the time I thought that was fine, because they were so generous and kind; they did offer an astonishingly different betting climate. But that climate is gone, so it's not fine anymore. If I play somewhere with the mutual understanding that the juice is -107 I don't want that changed later. No more favors, no problem, but that does flow both ways.

I made my own Christmas gift tonight and said screw theirs. I have absolutely no idea why I didn't get one and I'll be damned if I ask my "VIP" host for one. I wouldn't have expected one without the email so I'll just have them send me my gift in cash on Monday. No rollover required, shipping and handling extra.

If you dont see the banner, or even if you do see it, all contests can be found by clicking "contest central" at the top of the page where it has "wagering menu" "my account" "cashier" "casino" etc. etc.

Now all you have to do is finish top 5 out of about 10,000 entries.

Not a huge deal - hard to complain about not getting something free! But if the reason I didn't get anything was due to not having made enough bets, that seems rather ridiculous. If someone who makes 200 $10 bets gets something over me when I generally bet $1000 - $3000 per game, how does that make sense logically?
