Personally don't think Tebow's run really "proves" anything. All it shows to me is how belief in yourself, confidence, etc. is so important at the elite level of sports, and how mental the game is. How winning and succeeding can build positive reinforcement, and it's just an upwards cycle from there (it can also be just as bad if you continue to lose, a downward spiral).

Essentially, Tebow believes that God will help him when it counts, and so he has absolute confidence during crunch time that a higher power will be there with him. He never hesitates, he's not nervous, because it's almost like a foregone conclusion in his mind. Especially now when he's been able to pull off a run like this, your mental game is at an amazing place.

My answer is no to all questions in the OP.

I will give him (them - Broncos) credit if he can beat NE though. I just don't see it happening, but I wouldn't have thought he would be 7-1 or whatever as a starter at this point either.

The one good thing they have going is NE's defense is horrible. They gave up big play after big play all day long yesterday.

I will never believe. I live in Denver as a packer fan and I have no idea how you watch any of these games and think he is the QB of the future. Every game has a couple huge mistakes by players on the opposing team and they sneak out a score to win it. It has been a miracle run. In the Chicago, Minnesota, and Chargers games it took mistakes the give him that opportunity. Jets game had a pick 6. Miami was onside kick. I mean, its crazy.

The thing I don't get it how these teams go into prevent defense and just allow him to dump off the the RB and short WR passes in every game. I have seen every ending and they walk down the field with dumpoffs and get 10-15 yards at a crack. He has scored a TD in just over a minute in a couple of these games. Its nuts. I will admit that if they beat NE I will give him some credit. But as it sits right now, I cannot buy into this as a long term solution.

The Pats under Brady does not have a good record against the Patriots even in recent history. I'm sure the line will keep going up the more people pound it. The line open at -4.5 and now it's like -6 now with a chance of going higher because the repeated comebacks after comebacks seem impossible to keep the comebacks going. It's something like flipping a coin 20 times and getting heads 20 times. After tossing heads 19 times, the odds do not change for the 20th. It's improbable, not impossible.

As a Steeler fan, we've always had trouble with the Pats and Jags.

Pats used to own the Colts, now the Chargers do.

Ravens? Colts own them.

In the 90s, the 49ers couldn't do anything with the Packers, while the Packers couldn't touch Dallas.

The Patriots have gotten the best of every single team in the Brady era except one, the Broncos. Brady is 1-6 against them.

Broncos win 23-20 in OT and Tebow has the best game of his career.

It's like the Patriots never got over the 34-8 beatdown in Boston when Shannon Sharpe called the President.

Better Patriot teams have lost to worse Bronco teams.
